Arrow Pest Control

The person who set up the appointment did not let me know that they could not guarantee removal with a manufactured home, they told me the price and that the animal would be removed. When the service person arrived (scheduled for a couple days later) he let me know that there was no way he could go under the house and remove the possum because of the way the metal framing works under the skirting for the house. The only option was to skirt enzymes down by heating vents (because otherwise he would have had to drill holes in my wood flooring). The treatment didn't work and was expensive.

They came out and informed me that everything was good and nothing was going on. I noticed a mouse running across the counter afterwards.

They diagnosed the problem which they said we could solve on our own. No charge.

Did a nice job, cleaned up their mess, and worked with me an the PUD to get my rebates. Kimberly ironed out the few technical issues, quickly and professionally.

Out of the three companies I had quote on the work, these guys were the most expensive and the least thorough, but the estimator seemed that he had a really good grasp on what was needed. Their price wasn't way out of line, but it was more than the other two. The only major problem I had with Arrow is that the estimator gave me the cost for blowing in insulation into the walls without actually checking to see if insulation was already in there. You can check by looking into your electric outlets, behind the faceplate, and probing with a coat hangar wire behind the socket to see if any insulation sticks to it. This was the deal killer for me, but otherwise these guys were close to their competitors in price.

I had them do insulation previously and while they were doing the insulation they discovered rats in the attic. Before they did the insulation they had to get rid of them and make sure the area was closed up for access. After the insulation I went ahead and subscribed to a monthly pest control. I just terminated that a couple of months ago. It wasn't that they weren't doing a good job; my husband thought he could do it himself. I was very pleased with both the insulation and their pest control program. I paid them monthly. They didn't just come out and look at the boxes; they always reported back to me how much of the bait had been taken. They were good communicators. They were very professional. I didn?t look around at pricing for the pest control. I would definitely use them again if I needed.

Representative was prompt and provided a detailed quote before he left our home - remarkable! The work was scheduled within a very short timeframe and on the days we had identified that would work for us. The crew showed up on time, suited up, laid down protective plastic, and worked the entire day until the insulation was completely updated with removal of some (nests from rodents, which they also baited and took care of - including providing exclusion in both attics and the crawl space to prevent reentry. Arrow Insulation also took care of processing all the paperwork for the PSE insulation rebates!

Arrow was very professional. They did not try to sell automatic credit card charges for future work as another company did. We have an oddly designed house and the service was personalized. We had one call back but it was expected due to the size of the infestation - ours was huge. Everything we were told was absolutely spot on. They very day they said we might start seeing more ants, we did. They came out for the second treatment and we never saw another ant after that.

They removed the insulation and deodorized the area. They did not seal the area at all and the next Fall we had the rats coming in again, worse than ever. This time we were able to stop them before they got into the insulation.

We found out we had a powder post beetle problem when we tore down our deck this summer. I did some calling around and found Arrow. They were very friendly and offered a very competitive bid. We had to leave the house to have the work done. We weren't able to hang out like we usually do when we have jobs done. They sent a very young guy alone to do the work. I've been in human resources for years and I don't have a very high level of trust in young 20-somethings working alone. When we came home that night we noticed some debris where the employee should have sprayed. We worried that he missed that area--which was very concerning because that was the "ground zero" area where the beetles did the most damage. We called Arrow and they sent a high-level guy out twice to look over the job and ensure that it was done correctly. He assured us that it was. We were very happy with his responsiveness. It helped me feel the level of trust I needed to feel satisfied that the house was in good shape. Based on our experience of how they took care to send out an inspector (and responded very quickly to our request), we would definitely use them again.
