Paul who came to give our estimate was personable and respectful. He sent us an estimate shortly after his visit. We had some questions as his initial estimate did not cover all of the exterior walls, so he revised it and quickly sent a revised estimate that had the drains connecting to a sump pump to be installed in the garage. His team worked quickly and neatly, even removing our old carpet. The finished job is neat and has held up well.

Paul arrived promptly and was at our home for exactly 4 minutes. He looked at our sump pump and groundwater pump, and suggested we run water in it to test the system, which we had already done. No other suggestions were made, and no estimate for work was even generated. As we were hoping to learn how to improve our drainage system and where to waterproof areas where groundwater leaks through, the appointment was not at all informative. We are not sure of the reason for his hasty departure, as he had suggested the day and time of the appointment himself.

I made an appointment for Paul to give me an estimate. On the day we scheduled it for, he called me and said he would be 30 min late. I waited and waited and he never showed up. I called his cell and left a message wondering where he was and he never returned my call. I have had that happen a couple times, where somebody doesn't show up when they say they are going to, and I find it really frustrating because it is a waste of my time.

Very professional company, they did outstanding work. We have a split-level home, with a daylight basement. Although we did not see water in our finished basement, we did have musty smells and dampness, with very high moisture readings (up to 22; should be 8 to 10). Paul came out and gave an initial quote involving a sump pump and French drains on 2 sides of the house; we then increased the scope of the work to include digging behind the garage, rather than just he living areas. We added the 3rd side of the house, and changed from using a sump pump to a dry well, using gravity to move the water along. When the team came to do the work, they worked very very hard for 2 weeks, digging mostly by hand. They put in a dual barrier system against the house, and installed new French drains below the foundation. Everything was put back impeccably, including the sprinkler system. They cleaned up every evening, and hosed down the driveway. Outstanding work overall.

I'm not sure I have witnessed harder workers than these guys. The entire job took them 5 days, that is 5 days of digging trenches by hand. It would have been impossible to dig the trenches any other way being so close to our house. They dug a big trench along the side of our house to lay French drain and also sealed the wall with 2 barrier methods. They re-did the drainage in the driveway and re-cemented the area which is flawless now. The whole system works beautifully, we no longer get ANY water in the garage, and it was a pleasure to see hard workers, seems rare anymore.

Paul Korenovsky is the owner/lead/estimator and he provided a written estimate soon after looking at our property and where it had flooded (several times) in the basement. We showed the estimate to a good friend, who is a general contractor, and he was impressed with the amount of work to be done for the quoted price. We had to wait for over 2 months, however, because of their schedule. They began when they said they would and showed up everyday. When we would return home in the evening, we were always amazed to see the amount of work that they had done - by hand, no less. The workers did not speak very much English, but Paul was very helpful in translating and relaying messages when needed. We were out of town when they finished, but we were pleased to see that they had cleaned up in the basement where they had equipment and had filled in the dirt around the house very well - it was mostly level. Overall, a very good experience.

Allied was thoroughly professional, from the estimate process to additional yard work (installing catch basin). The concrete removal and re-pouring was harder than expected, but very well done. A wooden bathroom sliding door was accidentally damaged, and they replaced it without question. The standing water in the front yard is completely gone, and the basement has been bone dry this winter.

Paul arrived early, and even called to say he would be early so as not to disrupt our schedule.

THEY WERE PROMPT, PLEASANT AND CLEAN. THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT KEEPING THE DEBRIS OUT OF THE HOUSE. THEY TOOK ME AROUND BEFORE & AFTER THE WORK WAS STARTED/COMPLETED TO MAKE SURE THAT I UNDERSTOOD WHAT WORK WOULD BE DONE AND TO SHOW WHAT HAD BEEN DONE.

EXCELLENT SERVICE. WHEN WE BOUGHT OUR HOME WE DISCOVERED THAT THERE WAS WATER UNDER THE HOUSE THAT WAS COMING IN FROM BROKEN GUTTER LINE THAT WENT INTO THE YARD. ALLIED WAS SIMPLY SUPERB IN GETTING THE JOB DONE QUICKLY AND PROFESSIONALLY. THEIR ESTIMATE WAS RIGHT ON SPOT AND THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS. I WOULD HIRE THEM IN A SECOND IF I NEED THERE SERVICE AGAIN. THERE PRICE WAS VERY COMPETITIVE WITH OTHER COMPANIES BUT NONE OF THE COMPANIES COMPARED TO ALLIED'S SERVICE.
