After hiring Alex for numerous handyman jobs, we knew there was no other we’d prefer to hire for our basement remodel/media room install. Everything was done exactly as desired, and the entire process one of the least intrusive in that Alex endeavors to minimize mess and noise. Aleks was great. I initially hired Aleks to paint my apartment, but found out he can do it all! His skills range from demolition to finish work, so we agreed to add some other handyman work while he was here. He ended up doing painting, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry work for me, and I was grateful to not have to look for a new contractor for each type if work. Alek's rates are fair, even in a competitive season. He is friendly and responsive, and remained in good communication throughout the project. He asked the appropriate questions but for the most part worked independently and used good professional judgment. I really appreciated his attention to detail, and was happy with his taste in hardware. He did a thorough job and kept thing clean while he worked and left the place a lot better than he found it. I've already recommended him to several coworkers and neighbors, and would gladly hire him again.
