They were on time, professional and quick. The custom shower enclosure and door turned out great. Couldn't be better.

I have used AAA Kartak before with full satisfaction. I chose to work with them again on a different bathroom remodel. From the time to quote to getting a installer to call to set up an appointment was well over a week. When I called the installer back - he took another week to reply. I finally got him out and it took the salesperson another week plus to send a quote. All I heard was excuses when I called to follow up on the process. Primarily I was told "We are so busy". During this long process - I found a more responsive company to bid and complete the work. It was a bit more money but I felt the job would be completed timely and it was. I planned on having a custom closet installed but will not be using this company.

The installers were prompt, kind, and diligent with their work. The workmanship is excellent. When one of the mirrors did not fit properly, they rescheduled a few days later and installed the refined mirror. Great communication on arrival time and installation. I would recommend AAA Kartak.

This is the second shower door installation we've had by AAA Kartak. They installed our master bath single shower door several years ago and just recently installed double shower doors in our hall bath. Both installations were top notch and we are very pleased with the quality of the doors. We enjoyed doing business with them and highly recommend their work.

After waiting too long for a bid, they came in extraordinarily high then informed me that I'd have to wait 6 months for a shower door. Clearly, they are too busy for my business. Recommend any consumer get at least one competing bid to validate price and delivery expectations.

AAA Kartak was the highest bid I received. I choose them based on how professional and thorough the estimator was. I was not disappointed when the installers put in the glass shower surround. The did a fantastic job! The were on time and very respectful and my expectations were exceeded.

Aaa Kartak contacted me within 3 hours of my request via email and then a follow up phone call to set up a consultation. The consultant/salesperson was professional and on time and gave me quite a bit of information on what style and type of glass shower doors would work best for my layout. Within 48 hours I had a quote and then it took about 8 days or so for installation. The installer was prompt and efficient. The shower doors are exactly what I expected. I highly recommend this company!

After posting our original bad review (see below), Mark called us and deeply apologized for the screw-up. He said he wanted us to be happy with their services, and offered to have the mirror re-measured and re-installed free of charge. They just came over to remove the old mirror and re-install a new one, and this one looks fantastic, just the way we had imagined it. Thanks to Mark for handling this situation gracefully and thanks to Dennis and Ron for taking extra care to make sure the installation was exactly how we wanted it. **** We gave them 3 requirements for the home gym mirror we wanted them to install: it should start above the outlets, be 6 feet tall, and go wall to wall, left to right. Michelle sent us a design that looked good to us and we signed off on it. When the installers came we realized that the mirror had a 2 inch gap on the left and right, instead of going wall to wall as we had specified. So I called Michelle. She first told me that the 2 inches were necessary for the installation. That was not true. The installers had just told me that they only needed 1/2 inch on either side, so I told Michelle that. She then replied that if I didn't like the design I shouldn't have signed off on it. Only after looking at the design again did I see a small "2"RV" hand-written on both sides. How am I supposed to know what "RV" means? The drawing of the mirror does not show the wall or the gap, and therefore it's really not obvious that there would be a gap. Michelle next said that if I wanted it fixed I would have to pay in full for the new parts and installation. Although I do realize our mistake for signing off on the design, I think that above all it was her mistake for not having designed it according to our specification and for not making the differences in the design clear. She did not acknowledge her error, did not apologize, and did not offer a solution that would solve the problem. The whole point of paying $1265 for a mirror was so that we would have a custom size going wall to wall. We considered buying a set of mirrors at Ikea for a fraction of the cost, but we didn't do it because we didn't want a floating look. We are now stuck with a very pricey mirror we thoroughly dislike in our new custom house, and there is nothing we can do about it.

They were excellent. They were prompt in providing an approximate bid which was spot-on with the final bid after measurement. I got three other bids from Angie's List and they were the lowest. They arrived as scheduled and did a great job. I would use them again without hesitation.

They responded immediately via a message explaining that they do not do external glass doors but quickly offered another option that I could contact. I appreciate the responsiveness and willingness to direct me in the correct direction. Should I need services that AAA KARTAK Glass & Closet, Inc. does provide, they are the first one for me to call and recommend.

I was able to complete this purchase almost all by phone and e-mail with Michelle from AAA Kartak, and it was a very smooth transaction. I had a good idea what I wanted based on photos from the internet. Michelle gave me options of what they could install with very specific, detailed information. However, she suggested I stop by the showroom to look at the display models. Sure enough, when I saw the product line she recommended it was exactly what I wanted. Production wait time was about three weeks, which seemed reasonable compared to other bids. Their crews were polite and professional and arrived on time for measuring and installation appointments. More important, due to a tub ledge that wasn't level (causing water to drip outside the tub under the sliding glass door) AAA Kartak was extremely helpful to resolve the situation. They responded quickly (24 hours or less) to e-mails and voice mails and their crews came back out to figure out a solution. I would certainly use them again for any other projects.

Excellent initial visit answered questions on options, gave additional info for followup research, advised about cost saving in preparation of space (removing old shower door ourselves and cleaning the surface, including how to basics), disposal options for old door. Order prompt on our placement, care taken in checking on selection to make sure order correct, scheduling prompt, installation appointment on time and workmanship very satisfactory. I went with a different option than I had originally been considering based on a review of options with the experienced installer who came to give us an estimate. Very satisfied with appearance, installation, and performance and appearance since installation.

They responded quickly. I didn't use their services. Pricing was higher than a competitor.

Very nice job overall but the extra we paid for the coating on the glass does not work like we thought it would. If we did it all over again we would save the money. After I wrote this review I was contacted by Kartak Glass and the manufacturer of the coating on the glass. Not only did the company contact me they made an appointment and came to my house to check out my problem. Jim Baratto from Hydro Shield not only educated me on the product, he cleaned the entire shower and recoated the entire glass area. Thinking back I must blame myself for not listening to KARTAK when they explained to me what the coating would or would not do. I am extremely impressed with both KARTAK AND HYDROSHIELD for following up on my report. Now that I understand the facts presented to me by Jim Baratto everything makes more sense. Thanks to both these companies and it shows me Angies List works. Thanks to you all!

Great experience, great service, we would use them again!

Chris came & took measurements & gave me an estimate within 3 days. I got a few other estimates. They were not the cheapest but they were willing to do a price match so we decided to go with them. We are overall happy with the job that they did for us. The shower doors came out beautiful and we had expert installation. We also ordered two large mirrors. The first time they came, the dimensions of the mirrors were not quite right. Apparently the original guy who did the measurements miscalculated. They installers apologized & re-measured. After they left I called them back to express that I was concerned that the glass enclosure measurments might be also wrong & I didn't want any delays on the install for that. They said they would let the manager know of my concern. The same day the manager, Joel, called me to schedule to come himself re-measure everything. I thought that was very nice of them. When they came back for the glass enclosure install & try a 2nd time on the mirrors, one of the mirrors had a chip on the side. They called the office & Joel said he would cut another one immediately & bring it right over. The 3rd time was a charm. Everything was installed on that day. They took great care to make sure we were happy with everything. The installers are very competent and professional. Once everything was done, it all came out lovely. We love our new bathroom!! This is the true test of a great company. Problems may occur but it is how they resolve them that counts! I would use them again & highly recommend them.

I went by the showroom and met a very nice, professional person who took down the information of what I was looking for. She actually gave me the idea for my bathroom mirror also! Ray came out to measure the wall and another mirror insert I was looking for. Very helpful and professional. Good problem solver. I would definitely work with this company again.

The door is a beautiful addition to our remodeled shower.

Great price, good job and wonderful workers

Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and accommodating. I had trouble understanding the differences between a few options and the staff answered my questions both in person and via email. They easily coordinated with my contractor to come over and take measurements, and the install went very smoothly as well while I was home. The final product was exactly what I wanted.

After several no callbacks from Home Depot I called AAA KARTAK Glass. They came on time for the measurement and again for the installation. I am very happy with their work.

I remodeled my master bath, and a new shower enclosure was the final piece. I used Angie's List to find companies and solicited estimates from three. The best-known and largest Seattle company wasn't very responsive or interested, a Bellevue firm was more expensive and had a long lead time, but AAA Kartak turned out to be just right. They were friendly, interested in my business, and Chris Lockhart came quickly to provide an estimate and educate me on my options, and followed up with additional info and photos. He was even flexible on how tall the enclosure could be for the price. They worked around the shifting schedules of other jobbers, although they weren't able to install the enclosure as soon as I hoped once the other work was done. The day of installation, the workers were on time and quite nice, did a great job, and cleaned up afterward. Chris's measurements turned out to be perfect, and he even made it a bit larger than the old one, providing me with a little shelf where it overlaps the tub surround. I was a little concerned about how well a frameless enclosure would hold up. Would the glue keep the glass sections together and sealed to floor, walls, and each other, and remain watertight? Would bolts and glue be enough to securely support the tall, thick glass? Would the heavy door have enough support and remain aligned? Update: A year later, the enclosure looks fantastic and has no issues, and I couldn't be happier with it. Thanks to AAA Kartak for a great job, and to Angie's List for locating them for me.

I've never had such a bad experience with a service provider on Angie's List before. I submitted an online form and waited for a call back. Finally got them on the phone and they took down details for shower glass we need put in. No follow up happened not once, but 3 times. I called to get follow up and finally got an appointment scheduled for them to come on site and take measurements and talk about options. They then proceeded to no-show without a call or any notice. This is not a way to run a business.

I found AAA Kartak through Angie's List and set an appointment for their salesman Chris to come to our home on Nov 26th. He arrived on time and carefully measured the shower stall opening. He explained the design of the frameless glass shower door and what would be involved with installing it. He promised it would be installed as soon as he received the materials and that it would be done before Christmas. A few days later I received an email with the proposal and drawings of the shower door. I signed the proposal and faxed it back. About a week later AAA Kartak called to set the appointment to have the Shower door installed on Dec. 18th. On that day the technician phone to say that he could come a couple hours earlier which was fine. He installed the shower door without a problem. Now our bath remodel is complete and it looks beautiful! We are very pleased with the frameless glass shower door! Both Chris and the technician were a pleasure to work with. The whole process went smoothly and was stress free. I would highly recommend AAA Kartak to anyone.
