I called to get info. No call back. Called again, got a call back and was told they'd email me directions to drop off a chair. No email received. Called again, "Didn't get an email. Are you interested in doing this work? Please call me." Had no response. So, now I'm looking for another upholsterer. Would have loved to have her her reupholster my chair, have the chair and the fabric. Went nowhere.

There are not enough words to explain how skillful these folks are at their craft. Angie has been well-educated in her field, is not just a learn-by-doing person. As a result, her work is sound and design suggestions right on! We are leaving the state and started this project too late. By the time the material got to Angie, she only had three days to work her magic, and magic it is! The pieces look exactly like we had discussed - BEAUTIFUL! She and her husband are both delightful people, very accomodating and easy to work with. I saw several very complicated, antique pieces in her workshop and they too, are beautiful, showing off the fine craftsmanship of the creator (and Angie) very well.

From the moment I emailed Angie, the encounter was a pleasure. Angie returned my message within 24 hours. I told her what I wanted done and she provided a terrific quote and we agreed that she would do the job. Within a few days, Angie and her husband picked up the chair (for a reasonable fee). Within 10 days, my chair was sitting in my living room again--unrecognizable and beautiful. The quality of Angie's work is superb. At my request, she changed the design of the upholstery (and I left some of the details to her judgment). The choices she made were excellent. Angie also brings something else to her work--an enthusiasm for your project and choices. She seemed as excited about the fabric and design as I did and it made me feel wonderful! Obviously, I am very pleased with A & D Upholstery and recommend Angie highly.

When I emailed Angie and sent her pictures of the chair seats she was prompt with her replies. Her price was reasonable and her work is fantastic! Angie was willing to work with the material I brought with me and the finished product looks elegant, as my friend put it. Wonderful experience! Promptly returned our call, met us the same day, listened to what we wanted, asked questions regarding final touches and did a great job providing a finished product. The couch is beautiful and the attention to detail is truly appreicated.

Very satisfied with the results but it took a long time and cost quite a bite.

Angie West was great to work with. She had a wide range of samples; even let us take her sample book home to better see how the new fabric would match. Pricing was better than we expected, and she finished the job ahead of schedule. Could not have been a better experience. We only wish we had more work for her!

Angie is great! She has a great shop, plenty of fabric samples, and works quickly. I took her a couch that was my Dad's - probably from late 80's, early 90's. It is a Lazy Boy and had great bones, so wanted to have it recovered rather than buy a brand new couch. It was so fast. Met with Angie (great gal!), told her what I wanted, she suggested fabric, I picked it out, ordered it through her and paid for the fabric that day. Picked up the couch a little over a week later, and it was fabulous! I highly recommend Angie (A & D Upholstery) - you won't be sorry!

I found A &D Upholstery on Angie's List. Based on the reviews, I called the owner, Angie. She was very prompt in returning my call. I sent her photos of the two chairs and she immediately responded back with a price. I delivered the chairs to A & D along with the fabric I had purchased. Within two weeks, she had them completed. She stayed in communication with me throughout the process. Her workmanship is outstanding. The rebuild of the two arms on the one chair was masterful. The quality of her work is wonderful and she is a joy to work with. Her prices are more than fair, much better than what I had found elsewhere. I will definitely recommend A & D Upholstery to anyone who needs an excellent upholsterer.

The process was very smooth. She does nice work and for a reasonable price.

Our cat had shredded the sides and rear corner of a very expensive high quality 20 year old Norwalk sofa. Angie (owner of A & D) was able to use the material from the arm protectors to make the repairs, since matching replacement material was not available. She was able to sew a vertical seam on the side panel that absolutely was not visible. The cost seemed reasonable, since replacement would have been $1,500 to $2000 for a sofa of the same quality. Most important is that Angie is a very talented craftswoman and is worth her fee. We have another sofa that will be taking her for repairs, as well as some cushions from our sailboat that really need to be made over. Scheduling was realistic and accurate and the job was completed before the promised time. She also happens to be a very pleasant person too, and was easy to work with.

A & D Upholstery is owned and operated by a wonderful gal by the name of Angie West. She is fantastic at what she does and really has a true talent and skill for her craft. I wouldn't use any other upholstery company. She has done at least half of my furniture and is starting another project in the near future. She is so friendly and creative and has the ability to listen and help you create your vision or invent one together. She is very professional and always does what she says she will do. I'm thrilled to have found such a true craftsman to work with.

Angie (the owner of A & D) was referred to us by a family friend with a design background and very high standards. She lived up to the good word of mouth. She was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She collected the items from storage for us and offered me dozens of sample fabric books to review as well as suggested local stores where I might look for material. When I happened to find fabric for the job on line, it was easy to coordinate with her to have the it shipped directly to her shop. She completed the work within a week of receiving the material and the pieces look great. For an extra fee she even delivered the furniture to its destination 50 miles north of her shop.

I received a prompt response following my phone message/inquiry. I shared the service needed as well as timelines needed to have complete. Took a picture of the chairs needing the work to get a quote and sent. I received a prompt quote as well as an a ppt to drop off the chairs. The chairs were finished on time- as committed. They look great and I believe done at a fair price. I'm very happy and would not hesitate referring.

I was very pleased with them. It is one woman that does it and she was very helpful. She could have charged me a lot of money for something else but rather she told me how to fix it myself so that I didn?t have to pay for it. The snow held her up on some things but that wasn't her fault.

They were excellent. They did the work in record time. She must have read my mind as to what I wanted done. The price was great. I would say she went out of her way to please me and I would highly recommend her.

Angie did a beautiful job. The fabric I purchased was quite expensive and I was apprehensive to try someone I didn't know. Her prices were quite reasonable compared to the two other estimates I received for the project. She recovered the chairs using double piping to secure them. The pattern was aligned perfectly. It was a very professional job. Plus, she was very pleasant and had a quick turnaround. She stuck to her price and her date for completion.
