We learned about this general contractor through his work as a production home builder, which we understand he was successful at. We contracted him to build our custom home. Over the course of our build (that took 5 months longer than expected), we discovered the contractor had not taken time to establish business credit, underbid costs, missed our agreed to specifications, was not sufficiently available to subs for questions at the construction site, and continued to label our above mid-range build as a spec home among other concerns. If interested in custom construction with this builder, consider soliciting references from people that he's built custom homes for from start to finish.
