Called on a Friday, and owner came out on Saturday to remove 2 wasp colonies. He explained the species, the type of removal options, and most economic and humane options to remove the wasps. He removed the wasps promptly. I especially like that the wasps are frozen and the venom is used for medical use. I can't recommend this company enough.

Keith was fantastic. Last August I noticed a great deal of bee-like activity near my roof line on the 2nd story of the house. I thought that they were bees so I contacted Keith. He stated that he was booked solid and couldn't come out for a few days but he was able to give me some great information and tips over the phone. In the interim, I discovered that the "bees" had actually made a hive inside the house just above the sheet rock ceiling of our guest room. They had literally eaten away the sheet rock (to make more room for their hive) from the inside and it was now only a layer of paint and a layer of paper separating the nest from entering the room. Keith instructed me to get a piece of cardboard, cover it with aluminum foil and tape it up in that area of the ceiling very carefully which I did. By this time it we were pretty certain that it was yellow jackets and not bees that had infiltrated the house through a small opening between the trim on the outside of the house. At night you could actually hear them moving around just above the ceiling. Very creepy and unsettling to say the least! The day Keith showed up he immediately confirmed that they were yellow jackets and went to work to remove them from our house. He was very efficient and thorough. He showed me the remains of the hive which was quite substantial. Keith gave us a lot of great information about how to keep this from happening in the future and answered all of my questions very thoroughly. He was very personable and fantastic to deal with. I hope we NEVER have an issue like this again but if we do, Keith is the FIRST person I'm getting in touch with. I can't recommend him enough.

Superbly. Took two trips as first time we tried a non invasive attempt to discourage the in the wall nest by positioning my shop vac to prevent the return of the foragers to the nest. Keith flooded the front underground nest. Neither method proved totally successful so on the second visit he opened the wall in the guest room and removed the nest. Then perfectly patched the hole. Re-flooded the underground nest and that traffic has now ceased. Would not hesitate to use his services again or to recommend to others. Not listing a price as the fact that we had two nests and two visits were required rendered our bee situation atypical. We were satisfied however and feel we got true value for the amount we were charged.
Description of Work: We had 2 yellow jacket nests. One under the landing at the bottom of our front steps and one that had gotten into the wall of a guest room on the back side of the house.

Description of Work: Removed a couple of paper wasp nests (we discussed leaving them, as they are apparently pretty docile and hard to rile, but they were too close to the front door for my comfort). He mentioned that he expects I'll see more, as they tend to congregate in several small nests and you don't usually get them all the first time, but said that follow-up visits (within reason, of course) would be free. (As a bonus, he plucked a nest-tending yellow jacket queen out of the air and squashed her with his beekeeper's glove. Whole new colony gone before it could get started!) Very knowledgeable, personable and professional. Highly recommend!

I called Keith regarding the removal of what I thought was a yellow jacket nest in a roof vent in my attic. He returned my call within a couple of hours. He was friendly, asked questions and determined it was a paper wasp nest that didn't have to be removed because of the location. He offered to remove it if I wanted but I appreciated that he was willing to save me money. I would definitely use his services if needed in the future.

We had what the Bee guy called the largest Bumble Bee hive he had ever seen. And we actually had two hives in our yard. He took them away to live out the summer at his place. Both hives were stubborn and he had to come back once to remove the bees that had tried to re-nest. All done with friendliness and a smile. Grateful.

I feel terrible that I don't recall the name of the owner off the top of my head- but he was absolutely fantastic! When I first called he explained likely scenarios based on my description of the type of bees and the location in the roof overhang on the house. We could only get on his schedule about a week out, but he promised to call if he thought he could squeeze me in sooner- and he did! He even called twice! The first time I couldn't get out of work quickly enough, the second time was later in the day and we were able to make it happen. He took his time to carefully inspect before starting any work, so that he could minimize what he took apart. A nest of paper wasps was located, fully removed, and the small amount of drilling and cutting on the house that was necessary to find and get them was all repaired. He even took additional steps to make sure the space and surrounding areas were not accessible to bees in the future. Plus, he is a super nice guy! And to top that topping- he is actively interested in the preservation of wild honey bees, including being a bee keeper himself. A real pleasure to work with.
Description of Work: Locate and remove a paper wasp nest, and restore the house to prevent further entry.

I wasn't sure what to search for (started looking for pest control companies) and luckily I found the Wild Bee Company here on Angie's list with all perfect reviews. It was probably around 1PM when I called and Keith Glatzer (owner) answered. He was on a job and said that he wasn't positive he could come today but if not, he would come out tomorrow. He asked me to text him my info and he would call me back in about 2 hours to let me know when he could come out. He called in less than 2 hours and said he could come by right then. He arrived, I showed him the nest and we figured out where he could plug in his cord and I went back inside!! He said it would take about an hour and I think it was just under that. He explained what he did and what to watch for and that if they start rebuilding their nest in the next few days, he would come back and remove them again at no cost. He doesn't use any chemicals on them. Keith was very friendly, explained everything and was very professional. I will definitely use him again if I have another nest like that. Seems like a super nice guy.

Keith did a great job of figuring out what we had. We had a hornets nest that had got into out attic/wall through a small hole in the house. Although it was super hot out he suited up and climbed a ladder to suck them all out. He then fixed the area he had to cut open to get the nest out. He answered all our questions and was quick (as quick as you should be dealing with a hornets nest). He guaranteed his work and we were very happy with the price. We would certainly use him again.
Description of Work: We wern't sure what we had... bees, wasps, etc... but they were on the inside of our house about 8 feet from where I sleep so I wanted them out asap! We are hobby beekeepers so we wanted to make sure no chemicals were used and we also wanted someone experienced with bees in case it was bees that had swarmed. Keith was all this and more.

Went perfectly according to plan. He came out the first day that worked for me, suited up and vacuumed up the hornets from their nest, and then bagged the nest at my request so that I could have it to use decoratively once the few remaining hornets had died. Very nice guy and I would recommend him for any such job. He previously helped me with some bee hives that I didn't know what to do about. He advised leaving them be, as they weren't likely to sting and were near the end of their season. He tries to protect bees, if at all possible.

He determined that the bees were honey bees and were near the end of their season and that removal was not necessary. Clarified that there was little risk of stinging from these bees, also. Had no further problem. Nice guy. I have just called on him to come and remove a hornets nest in my shrubbery and he was very responsive.

I had bumblebees under the house, which my normal exterminator service was unable to remove. I was directed to Keith Glatzer of Wild Bee Company. He came out the next day, evaluated my situation, and explained my options, educating me on bees from what is obviously an enormous fund of knowledge. I decided to go ahead with removal, and he took out the bees on the spot without damaging anything or using sprays. In an hour, my problem was resolved. Keith Glatzer is a real pleasure to work with. He calls when he says he will, arrives when he plans to, and is calm and professional at all times. He does not use poison and he relocates the bees rather than killing them. He also let me know that I had some dry rot in the area from which he removed the bees. http://wildbeecompany.com/about/

Keith did a great job. I called him, and I think he came out the next day. He is both a beekeeper and a carpenter, which is part of the reason we hired him. He was careful about causing minimal damage to our house, and his work was detailed and thorough. He also charged what I thought was a very fair price considering all the work that he did. He even took the time to educate me about bees and the many interesting things about them. Overall, Keith is a nice guy who seems to be both hard-working and honest, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.
Description of Work: We had an old honey bee nest in our wall, and we had new bees that were trying to use the old nest and honeycombs that were left in the wall. Keith came to our house and did a cut out. He removed the old nest, the honeycombs, and the bees without the use of any poisons. He cleaned up the area and put everything back together again.
