Do NOT hire Dylan. His partner installed our air conditioner a year ago. A few weeks ago we had water in the basement and I texted my original contact James who said he was out of town and to get in touch with Dylan who we had never met and didn't know was associated. When he came out he charged us $200 to diagnose the issue. Then he informed us a part was faulty and it would be roughly $500 additional on top of the $200 we already paid, again the unit was a year old. I asked him a few questions about why it would cost so much for a unit that is practically new. Then I heard from his partner that I made him feel uncomfortable for asking about the price. Dylan also told his partner that I said their company should have to pay for it which was a complete lie - my entire conversation with Dylan is attaxhed. With the temperature heating up I tried to placate him and see if he would come out to make the repairs at his suggested price. He told me he was too busy now. When I asked for a reference to someone that could help he flippantly said "call seatown, I see their trucks around." Entire conversation with him is screenshot and attached. I don't trust Dylan, and I'm sad that his partner James (who we liked a lot) decided to go into business with him. It's ok for people to push back on price, but Dylan apparently disagrees.
Description of Work: Our AC which his partner installed a year ago started leaking water. He was going to charge us $700. When I asked him questions about the price on a new unit he told his partner he felt "uncomfortable" and left us hanging.

I can't say enough about Dylan and his assistant. They were tenacious in isolating the break in an insulated electrical line, which was in a very tight area near a second story dormer, close to the roof line and covered in insulation. (Dylan was covered with insulation as well after the repair was made). Based on the residential electrical problem we had and they solved, I was very impressed by Fenter Electric's knowledge and strong work ethic.
Description of Work: We had a break in an electrical line feeding our master bedroom and bath.

The Fenter Electric team is fantastic to work with. We have been working with Dylan since we purchased our 1962 home which needed rewiring and a kitchen remodel and have been so happy that we went with him and his crew. He is super responsive, thorough, and thinks ahead which has helped us a lot in this larger than expected remodel that we were faced with. I would highly recommend Fenter Electric and fully trust that team with our home's electrical needs.
Description of Work: Partial home rewire and new kitchen.

EXCELLENT service, quick response, and very pleasant to work with. Dylan and Austin trouble-shouted an issue related to powering two receptacles in the master bedroom area. It took about an hour to identify and solve the problem. Certainly not obvious. I will recommend Fenter to our friends and Dylan will now be our first- choice electrician should we have another problem.

Professional and efficient, these guys were AWESOME! The office has better lighting, and the transformer and dimmer for the dining room are ordered. They'll come back to finish the job when they comes in. They also closed up an outlet that my husband created by stealing power from a heater, which was night right, and fixed the heater back to its original state. Dylan is so very nice. He made the whole experience less stressful.
Description of Work: Lots of small but important electrical fixes

This is a great local business. I called Dylan and he came by later the same day to look at my breaker panel. He checked everything out, reassured me that all was OK and only asked for a good recommendation.
