+ -1 moreKeith with Comprosof is A-1, very nice guy, very professional. The thing I like about him is if he's not comfortable with something he'll tell you right up front. That's been my problem with some of the other companies I've used, I've had to take my computer to them, wait three weeks and get it back and it doesn't work. He comes to the house and about an hour and I think his price is almost give away for the work he does. Once in a while I just have a question and I just email him, he doesn't charge me anything for that. He put a wireless router in the living room for the iPad. Another time my wife had some issues and called him and he told her exactly what to do over the phone. Sometimes he doesn't charge anything depending on what the problem is. I will absolutely continue to use him.
Description of Work: Comprosof does work on my computer and electronics.

+ -1 moreWe could not be more pleased or impressed with the work that was done, or with the professionalism of the company.. Our computer was running slow, freezing up, and generally not responding to commands. We found Com-Pro-Sof on Angie's List. Their response was prompt, thy picked up the computer, repaired it, and returned and reinstalled within 48 hours. Other shops have taken several says to do less work.
Description of Work: We have used three local computer "repair" firms before finding Com-Pro-Sof on Angie' List. Kieth picked up my computer exactly when he said he would, after first calling to confirm that the time was convenient. He cleaned up more viruses than the Center for Disease Control has even seen, installed two separate security systems, returned it on time, and then gave us a tutorial on how it all worked.

+ -1 moreVery well. The storefront operation in Ballard is no longer in operation, so he works on site. He was very prompt and thoroughly professional about maintaining contact and keeping me informed. He was unhappy with the prices he was getting for CD-ROM drives and did an extra search. I thought the fee was extremely reasonable.
Description of Work: Replaced the CD-ROM drive in my laptop. Before doing that, he performed thorough diagnostics on the machine and installed a malware security program. Unfortunately, the replacement did not fix the problem. He recommended reformatting the hard drive and reinstalling the OS (Vista). The alternative would be to buy a new machine.

+ -1 moreHe greeted me, asked questions on my computer needs and then we working on the components and pricing which would fit into my needs and budge. He always gave a completion time and met the deadline.
Description of Work: I have had Keith build and repair my computers for the last 10 years. He has excellent business and technical skills, and I would highly recommend this company. He always gives an estimate which is reasonable. When my computer needed a tweak he has explained this diagnostic in a manor that was very helpful, often allowing me to fix the problem without having to bring my computer in to the shop. The shop stocks main software I can purchase. Usually I can get one on one help with software questions or upgrade questions. His performance on my projects was exceptional; deliverables were high-quality, on schedule, and within budget very efficient, professional, and a pleasure to work with.

+ -1 moreHE TOLD US WHAT WE NEEDED AND EVEN SUGGESTED THAT WE JUST PICK UP A HARD DRIVE AT COSTCO. THEN HE WOULD INSTALL IT FOR US AND RELOAD ANY COMPUTER SOFTWARE THAT WE BROUGHT HIM. EXCELLENT SERVICE.
Description of Work: TOOK IN OUR HP COMPUTER HARD DRIVE. WE LOST THE HARD DRIVE AND NOTHING WAS RECOVERABLE. THEY DID TRY A COUPLE OF RECOVERY PROGRAMS, BUT THE HARD DRIVE WAS TOO FAR GONE.
