Description of Work: Update kitchen leaving existing cabinets except one hanging from the ceiling. Adding one corner cabinet to match. New countertop, sink and faucet. Install moulding, chairrail and complete painting.

Description of Work: We had completely removed all appliances and cabinets from our kitchen and were working with a clean slate. Chermak came in and after discussing our options we decided to try to do some of the work on our own and have them do the more difficult work. They started early the following week and things progressed nice and quickly. We were a little disappointed that the workers didn't always do the best job cleaning up and didn't cover things up when doing work above our makeshift kitchen. Needless to say, we need to buy a new toaster as it has so much dust in it. We had draped sheets over things to reduce the dust, but came home one day to find that they hadn't pulled it up and over the microwave even though it was partially draped over it. The patch work they did looks good, but the texture doesn't match what we had, so we can definitely see where the work was done and that's disappointing. So far we have paid $3,000 for the work. $500 to start and $2,500 at the completion of drywall, but I have no idea how much we are in to this project as we have yet to see a bill. I'd like more information regarding progress billings so I can monitor where we are at financially in this process. We will need to hang our cabinets now and install our appliances and then call Chermak back to finish the electrical work that needs to be completed. Hoping to have this project completed soon.
