+ -1 moreHe used white torch-down on a black roof - and invoice price was higher than quoted. He did come and put a black coating on the torch-down and adjusted the price to the quote. Due to winter it took some time but he did honor his word. Although there was the color issue his work is clean and professional.
Description of Work: I had John come and do some vents - very professional and punctual. Later I had him come and fix an issue which wasn't done correctly when the house was built - see below. I have asked him to provide a quote for a roof replacement for my daughter and have called twice - still not quote :(...

+ -1 moreDid not honor a verbal contract, He gave me a quote and scheduled for August. In June when I called to confirm our timeline he voided the contract because he got a large job out of the area. Did not offer any alternatives of any kind. Basically said tuff luck. Bye...... I was stunned and appalled. He came highly recommend. Beware. A handshake and a verbal contract is no good with this guy. The almighty dollar seems to be most important with Common Sense Roofing. Get it in writing if you do use them. They apparently do good work.
