Contractor was cursing around children, he was late everyday. He didn't finish the job and the concrete is now coming up like dust.

The thing with Nili is that he wants to do a good job, but the bottom line is that he just doesn t. After 4 months of trying to get him to complete a simple, stamped patio for us, we ended up with something that was completely opposite of what we asked and paid for. We wanted a tan, non-glossy stamped patio and ended up with a dark brown/red, glossy stamped patio (the stamp pattern on the stairs doesn't even match). After the initial stain job, the low-gloss concrete sealer he used immediately started chipping, along with a few other minor fixes that were needed. While the color was nowhere near what we wanted, we were OK with it and couldn t imagine that the other issues would be that difficult to fix (these included places where the stamp didn t take, cleaning concrete splatter up, and a crack that appeared in our steps). Boy, were we wrong. In hindsight, we really don t think he had a real knowledge of how to fix what needed fixing. He just kept telling us that he needed to restain everything. In the end, he even told us, Oh, the low-gloss sealer I used at first has given me trouble on other jobs, too. We didn't understand why he didn't tell us this in the beginning when we told him we wanted a low gloss finish. Ultimately, he had to restain and reseal the entire patio twice, which led to the MUCH darker color and high gloss finish that we now have. He also managed to ruin a part of our house by spraying the stain right on the siding. He simply was careless with his work and he completely abused the kindness and patience we showed him. Before starting the project, we had some very specific conversations about protecting our house and other items around the patio from the mess than inherently comes with a concrete job, but those conversations weren't heeded. In all, the project took four months for him to complete. We endured countless no-shows, and he even came out once not prepared to work, but just to tell us he d come back the following week. Why even make us wait around for you just to tell us you d be back another time? To his credit, he eventually did finish the work and didn t abandon the job (he did have full payment, after all), but this was after we finally had had it and told him he had 48 hours to complete the atrocious mess he had made and fix the problems with the patio. At that point, we were willing to cut our losses and have someone else clean up his mess. We do have a patio, but it s something we re going to have to learn to like because it s nowhere near what we agreed to. The whole experience was incredibly frustrating, and it s a lot of money to spend on something you simply don t like.

A great team to work with, they are very polite, and very proficient in their work. A pleasure to work with, and I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again.

Good reliable crew. Good job. It would be good if they did a follow-up with the client after finishing the work. Would re-hire again to do more work!

They removed and re-poured my concrete front porch. I am very happy with the finish product. I would recommend them to others. They understand the concept of pleasing the customer and will go the extra mile to do so.

Nili was quick to respond to the initial request with a competitive quote. Worked was planned, scheduled and executed in a timely manner. Upon completion the product looked fantastic and was exactly what we had envisioned when drawing up the plans. The team was very respectful and easy to work with through the whole process. I would use again and would highly recommend Nili Construction to anyone looking to hire for concrete work.

They did an excellent job on our retaining wall. Final clean up could have been better. Workers were friendly and pleasant!
