 + -1 moreThey came out and measured promptly, and brought samples of all their colors and styles, and were very patient with me. It took about 3 weeks for them to be made (they are custom made) and shipped, but then they were installed promptly. The main reason I got these was to reduce heating costs, as they have an R-value of about 9. But they are also quite lovely.I live in a secluded area and had no curtains at all, but I have large windows and was losing a lot of heat through them. I think they are making a significant difference in my heating bills this winter, but time will tell. I only leave them closed when It's dark. I definitely recommend going with the cordless operation for lifting the shades.
Description of Work: I had thermal window coverings (aka honeycomb shades) installed. They are very expensive....$5000 for 2 large windows, 4 medium, and a sliding glass door. I also opted for the bamboo style, which added close to $1000, and the nicest way of operating the shades, which involves no cords... all you have to do is lift or lower the botttom of the shade to where you want it, and it stays put.,,, there is an extra cost for this but it's well worth it. The sliding glass door is the only one that operates with the traditional cords.
