We had Palouse Concrete pour a concrete floor for our shop. Beth, Drew, and their crew did a fantastic job for us! We built the building first, so it was an unconventional pour, but they had no problems. Beth went above & beyond to help me get some extra gravel for our driveway, which was really soft & muddy. And Drew stayed really late to finish up smoothing the floor for us. They were professional and their price was very fair. The work they did was perfect. I'll definitely be calling them again for our next concrete project, which will be a decorative colored sealer to make the shop floor blue. Can't wait!
We contracted Palouse Concrete and Construction to pour a stamped and colored concrete patio for us. The patio that they produced had inconsistent stamping, was discolored, and had edges that were cracked and crumbling. The stairs that they poured for the patio had forms that “blew out” causing exposed aggregate in the front face of the stairs. The stairs had noticeable form marks on the top edges. As another concrete contractor put it, he had seen better quality work from guys that get picked up in bars to pour concrete to save a buck. In addition to the poor quality work, we were later told, by a reputable concrete contractor, that we were charged over a thousand dollars more than the market rate for the concrete work. We met with Beth and Drew St. Marie about their work and they made excuse after excuse as to why the patio turned out so poorly. They told us that they would give us a full refund. Beth texted me a couple days later telling me that I could come pick up my check, for the full refund amount. I went to go pick up the check and Beth provided me with paperwork that said they were not going to give me a full refund and instead were only going to offer a concrete overlay, to cover up their substandard work. We had never agreed on an overlay and it was not a product my wife and I wanted. We eventually had to have our lawyer contact Beth and Drew. Beth and Drew gave us an insulting financial offer to get out of the poor quality job that they had done, including a condition that we would not leave a review regarding their work. Eventually we had to go to court and the judge gave us a judgement that was more than twice what Beth and Drew had offered us. If you want a company that performs substandard work, lacks integrity, does not stand by their work, and lies, Palouse Concrete and Construction is the best choice. There are other concrete companies in the area, who might have a wait list, but it would be worth the wait to not have to deal with Palouse Concrete and Construction.
