Description of Work: cleaned up an electrical box that had more wires in it than could be expected...a real rats nest and Jeff straightened it all out got the swith to work on all the lights it was supposed to work on even the outdoor lights...had to return to wire in the outside lites i had forgotten (and did not charge for the visit)

+ -1 moreWe called Jeff after finding his company on Angie's List as being highly recommended by customers in our area. We had called out another company a few months earlier that charged $80 for the same issue and nothing was done after investigating. After a few months of intermittent power interruptions, we called Jeff at JD Electrical. He came out on the same morning and promptly diagnosed the issue and replaced the outlet with the loose connection. He was very friendly and professional. His charges were more than reasonable. It has been 10 days since the repair and there have been no further issues. We will definitely call him again if we have any electrical issues. Thanks again to Angie' List!
Description of Work: Troubleshot an intermittent electrical outlet. Replaced one of the outlets on the circuit of outlets with loose connection.

He worked hard to find the best, safest, and most inexpensive way to meet the code requirements. He was very concerned that installation of a new outside receptacle would be as invisible as possible. We appreciated his courtesy and patience answering our questions. If you need any electrical service, call JD Electrical.
Description of Work: Installed an outside electrical outlet to meet code. Insulated the service panel. Checked the safety of the wiring.

+ -1 moreJD Electrical showed up on time on a one day notice even though he had other jobs to do because of my heat related need for air conditioning before high weather temperatures began. He worked hard to finish the job to move on to his other clients. He was personable and reliable and I would recommend him for any electrical job. I am hiring him again to run a new electrical line for my gas fireplace and new outlets. Aire Serv Furnace also uses him and feels he does a good job and is reliable.
Description of Work: He installed a air conditioning line for my new unit. He had to rearrange the breaker box and drill through cement to accomplish job.

Description of Work: Jeff replaced an electrical outlet that caught fire in my living room. He also explained how the electrical current travelled through the living room and helped find a different outlet to use for my space heater. He did a very good job and was far more reasonable with his pricing that the two other electrical contractors I contacted to handle the same repair. He didn't charge me a dispatch fee. He was able to provide a reasonable quote over the phone and came to my home on a Saturday for no extra charge. One electrican I contacted charged a $69 dispatch fee just to walk in the door and estimated the repair at $295 if I were to use their on-call technician in the evening. They did offer Saturday service for no extra charge. The other electrician quoted $225 for the repair and told me his prices were fair and moral. Jeff was knowledgeable, courteous, fair, honest and professional. He lives in Colbert. I would highly, highly recommend him.

I was totally satisfied with his work, he communicates well, and explained the installation. He was very accommodating and adjusted to the tight schedule set by the AC contractor. I would use his services again without question.
