Description of Work: Dynamic Decks (Matt Schupp, Owner) tore down our old deck & rebuilt it with composite materials with metal railings. They did a beautiful job & our deck looks fantastic. I would definitely recommend this company and have plans for some additional renovation work in the future.

+ -1 moreDynamic Decks was great. Our deck is amazing and all the guys who worked on it were polite and professional. The deck is so solid that I think our house will fall over before the deck will. Truly amazing. Matt (the owner) had great ideas to save some money and incorporated some beautiful design elements. We couldn't be happier with the whole thing. I highly recommend Dynamic Decks. I would use them again and the deck surpassed our expectations.

Description of Work: Matt came out and took several measurements for a deck and a couple ramps. He said he'd be in touch with an estimate. After not hearing from him for a week, I emailed him without any response. The next week I called him and he said he'd get on that estimate and email to me. Later in the day, I got an email from him that indicated he was really busy and was booked through July. My issue is he could have told us along the way that he was booked up and not wasted three weeks of our time waiting on his estimate.

+ -1 moreWe were referred to Dynamic Decks by word of mouth. The good things are that this guy has a really good eye for design, he enjoys his work, his price was very low, and in the end we got a good deck. The bad things are that he did not get the proper building permits, he was doing electrical wiring without a permit, and he did not build to code. When we found this all out we had him back up and get the permits. When the inspector came out we found out there were all these code violations. He did make the necessary corrections. He and another worker came back and spent an entire day reinforcing the deck and doing the things the inspector said needed to be done for it to pass code. It was a very stressful experience. The building and the electrical inspectors both said that the guy has the potential to be a really good contractor, because he does very nice looking work, but that he needs to get his act together and follow the laws and build structurally safe buildings. I sort of feel like he deserves a second chance. I think if someone hired this guy with their eyes open and made sure he built to code that they might end up very happy, because our deck looks really nice. He was lucky, because we could have filed all kinds of complaints and sued him, but instead we decided to work with him.
Description of Work: We used Dynamic Decks to build our deck and replace some decking on a deck patch where our hot tub was.

+ -1 moreThe deck is beautiful. Great workmanship. He took care of arrangements for sealing deck. Concrete work isn't clean. Unfinished looking. I asked him to fix. Still not addressed. Overall, a good experience with this contractor.
Description of Work: Tore down old deck. Re-built cedar deck. Expanded deck area. Changed and built 3 stairways.
