First off let me say that Ken is a Professional, the work he performed on my home was excellent, he restored my home to look beautiful. The quality of his work is a number 1. I can't say enough about True Colors, I am extremely satisified.

Working with Ken and his Tru Colors team was a great experience! We needed a lot of work done on our Whidbey Island house to include exterior house prep and paint/stain, metal roof cleaning, out building paint/stain, and deck cleaning and stain. All work needed to be coordinate long distance because we live in Hawaii. Ken's response was quick, detailed, and clearly outlined our options. Once we selected Tru Colors, Ken did an outstanding job of keeping us informed every step of the way. We will certainly use Ken and his expert team at Tru Colors the next time we need help.

*UPDATE* It has been a couple of years now and I feel it necessary to update my review. I was told that I was getting a very high quality of paint that should "easily last 20 years". The truth is that Ken used a flat paint when a semi gloss should have been used due to the high UV and now the east and west sides of my house have faded from a dark blue to almost a baby blue and the area around the window drains to almost white. I am now having to have the house repainted, needless to say it won't be this company doing the work. I've also noticed some very sloppy painting around doors and the foundation that his helpers did. Minor problem but there it is. Let me start by saying that as a consumer, I know that 5 stars looks suspicious but rest assured that Mr. Hunter is one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. He replied to my request for a quote promptly and his prices are very competitive. His number one priority was making sure I was happy in every phase of the project. I never felt rushed to make a decision and Ken went out of his way helping me choose a color. Even more importantly the quality of their work is top notch. Ken and his crew Steve and Nate have outstanding workmanship. No runs, drips or over-spray [I did find some later]. If I thought anything needed more attention they did it without complaint.

Mr. Hunter was a true professional, who always put our needs first. A true needle inthe haystack of painters on theIsland. Would and have recommended him to friends, family, and co workers. Very pleased with the quality of work. Should be the number 1 painter on the island. Mr. Hunter and staff was truly professional at times. If I had more houses to paint, I would definitely hire him.
