Advanced installation is an outstanding choice for remodeling. They were professional, reliable and gave me a fair bid for both projects, fireplace remodel and two bathrooms. Leo and Igor are excellent and I was extremely pleased with my final products .

Very pleased with the installation of 2 gas fireplaces in our townhouse. Not only do the work great but they are both beautiful! Enjoyed working with the installers and the administrator staff!

I had Advanced Installations install a fire insert for us. The experience was very pleasant. I initially chose them because they were the same price as others but the could start the project three weeks before anyone else. I worked with Charity and their team. Charity was always in communication and updated me on the status of things. The problem was on my side. We have a plastic roof that is too dangerous to walk on when it is wet – and this is Seattle. They came out to do the install and got the gas and electrical hooked up. They tried to get on the roof but it was too dangerous due it being slightly damp. This was going to be a challenge. The owner made a special trip out to see how they could get up on the roof safely. The options were a 40 foot ladder (dangerous) or possibly some really good roofing shoes. They opted to buy a pair of $300 Cougar Paw shoes, which they purchased. We had to keep rescheduling due to snow, or rain, on the roof. We finally had a dry day and they came out, put their Cougar Paw shoes on, and made it up on the roof. I felt bad with all the rescheduling that had to be done, but Charity and her team were understanding and did not have any issue with the inconvenience. The job finally got done, they got all the permits from the city and did not charge anything extra for the many trips. I wish all my dealings with contractors was this pleasant.

We had an old-fashioned fireplace with a wraparound wood mantle against a plain painted wall and wanted a contemporary remodel. Advanced Installation accomplished our vision of creating a hand-laid, natural stone wall with a single handmade wooden beam mantle shelf and we are absolutely thrilled with the results. It turned out even better than we?d envisioned. Throughout the process, every crew - from demolition to fireplace install to stonemasons - was professional and courteous. They treated our home (and our doggies) with respect. Every single day, the clean-up was impeccable. Leo, the general contractor, was incredibly knowledgeable, kept everything running smoothly, and was a calm and steady influence when we were indecisive or even borderline panicked. He gave us very wise advice and was spot-on with his suggestions each and every time. The project would not have turned out nearly as well without his guidance and professionalism. We would not hesitate to use this firm again for any other project.

They did a good job. Everything is working well. Some miscommunication with the office, but in general this is a good company to do business with. They really know their stuff and the price was reasonalbe.

Rich's forwarded my installation request to Advanced Installations, and they called me within a week to schedule a time and date for the installation. Advanced Installations also advised that I would need an electrician to hook up the wiring for the fireplace insert. They were able to schedule an electrician to work with their installer on the installation date. They also reviewed the measurements of the fireplace I ordered and compared it to the measurements of my fireplace opening, and suggested that I change my order with Rich's to the next smaller size of insert, to ensure it would fit (even a 1/4and quot; matters!). I heard no further follow-up prior to the installation date, but that's fine. If I had a suggestion, it would be that they give a reminder phone call to ensure that the installation is still going to occur. On the day of installation, my only complaint would be that Advanced Installations didn't arrive at 7:30am as promised, but instead a bit closer to 9am. I phoned their office in Lynnwood, which directed me to call their Marysville location. I left a message with the Marysville location, and they called back promptly to let me know that there would be a slight delay, since the electrician was double-booked. I got a call a few minutes later from the installer, telling me he was sorry that he was late (it was now 8:45am), but that he was on his way. I shouldn't have to call to find out why a service provider is running late, but to Advanced Installation's credit, the installer called me at 8:45. A little better communication with their customers is my only request. Perhaps a reminder/confirmation call the day before, and to let the customer know in a timely manner if the installer is running late. Their installation cost was marginally more than the standard quote provided by Rich's (which was $475, and probably didn't include tax), but the difference is very minor and doesn't concern me, especially since the electrician was cheaper than quoted. Except for those issues, the fireplace installation went very well, Advanced did everything they promised, and I would do business with them again.

This was a challenging job in that there was much drilling though solid concrete walls to get the gas line installed. The crew worked very quickly considering the difficulty. We went outside and picked berries as it was (of necessity) quite loud.

I din't end up using Advanced Installation.

The price was outrageous for 2 hours of work. The price was also not as quoted by the dealer. The installers and receptionist were nice, they were punctual and polite. Rich's Stove had no concept of how the billing worked for the installers. Rich's quoted $600 for about 4 hours of work which seemed reasonable. The installer said, and quot;:We have to charge extra because additional fabrication was necessary and that process took a lot of timeand quot; however the job was completed in half the time that was estimated and the bill was for significantly more.

I liked everything they did. They were prompt, professional, and cleaned up well. They answered my emails and asked the right questions. They also knew what they were talking about, but they were a little expensive. They were overall perfect.

Original appointment scheduled at 3:30pm on a Thursday. At a quarter to 5 I had to call and see where the guys were and then had to leave a message. The scheduler returned my call and appoligized, her guys were held up on a gas pipe install that ran way over time. A courtesy call would have been appreciated. She rescheduled for the following Saturday and guaranteed they would be here at 1pm. At 4:10pm they called and told us they would have to reschedule because they didnt have a 40ft ladder... Serviceman was not prepared = FAIL. FYI I have a 40 ft ladder they could have used. When they called 3 hours late and left a message they said "obviously you are not home because you didnt answer your phone". I was home all day waiting, and what difference would it have made considering it would have been dark in less than and hour.... I am very disappointed. Bad communication, Did not call when unable to make first appointment and failed on second appointment by calling 3 hours late and making excuses.

I called and the woman that I talked to was very helpful in finding the pipe that we needed. They picked up the pipe after I ordered it and they came and installed it when it came in. They were very professional and cleaned up everything when they were done. They would not accept a tip.

When I called, they explained the pricing over the phone - very straightforward - and then booked me. Because of a cancellation they got my work done the day after I called. The installer showed up a little early, but he quickly found an easy route across the basement ceiling, ran about 15' of pipe, and got the BBQ gas outlet w/shutoff installed exactly where I wanted it.

PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL, GAVE US MANY HELPFUL TIPS ON USING OUR NEW WOOD STOVE AND OBTAINING THE BEST WOOD FOR IT. WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO OTHERS.
