Moerke & Sons Pump & Drilling

Worked with me in a complicated real estate transaction project. The actual cost was less than the invoice, and they sent me a check for the difference. High intergety.

We had an old electrical line in our pasture for our pump house that was poorly spliced by the previous owners. We called Moerke and sons to come out and give us an estimate for the repair. It was one of three companies that we had reached out to for an estimate. After them showing up and spending a few minutes on site we realized pretty quickly that they didn’t want to do the work. So we parted ways without much fanfare. Then, we got a bill from them for coming out. We were never told that estimates cost money or we would not have scheduled it. We specifically asked if estimates we’re free and were told they were. They are now saying that rolling a truck, even during an estimate situation, requires them to charge us money. This is not what we were told nor what the people that referred us to them understood. Very unprofessional, we will not be using these guys ever and will strongly recommend their competitors to everyone we can.

Called and said it would take weeks to come out so we fixed it ourselves. Then when it failed again sent an inexperienced tech who forced parts on a pipe that wasn't 1 inch and glued them hoping they would stick. Fix failed within 12 hours. Second guy comes out, works for a few hours spending lots of time on phone with the shop. Said he didn't have parts that would fit and said to go to Home Depot to get parts and fix ourselves or let him put in a temporary line drilling through the side of our pump house while we wait weeks for a submersible pump install. We had to replace every part and piece of pipe that was installed, nothing worked. I still received a bill for a repair that only lasted 12 hours, where all the parts had to be trashed because of the glue on them. Sean said "Well it was fixed, wasn't it?" and took labor of the bill which was already marked too high because he claimed his tech got back at 4:30 when he left my house at 2:15. Skyline spent a lot of time on the phone trying to help us trouble shoot the repair ourselves on the phone. When our repair failed again they came out the next day and gave us a submersible pump, without replacing the line, for under 1700 while you're charging us 200 for a 12 hour repair. You should send techs who know what they are doing and can diagnose a problem within half an hour, write invoice on site that defines what we're being charged for and collect credit card information immediately, don't try to charge a person for three repairs (patch up current system, then put in temporary system, then permanent fix), don't exaggerate labor time by 2 hours, don't consider a job that fails within 12 hours a fix.
