Fantastic Job! Stunning job with layout and pattern matching of marble-like material. Nice work! All four surfaces are truly beautiful. We are so pleased with what was done with the material we chose. The veining is positioned to maximize the beauty of this product to its fullest potential. Only one seam that is virtually invisible in our 4-sided kitchen with a raised bar peninsula and a raised stub wall top 6" wide and approx. 8' long connecting to the raised bar. This job turned out flawless. We couldn't have asked for better folks to work with even with our last minute changes. The schedule was executed on time and as promised at every step.

They are VERY busy, so prepare to wait in line for booking the job. They were booking a month out for installations when I ordered, but we weren't in a hurry. There are a couple of things you should know (if things are still the same as my experience). They don't demolish the current countertops and prepare them for granite installation, and they do not hook up faucets and plumbing after the installation. You have to either line up those tradesmen yourself or hire a contractor to manage your job and do it for you. They have a small showroom with several granite samples, but we opted to go to Seattle and choose from one of the granite providers and Moonlight brought back our slabs on one of their bi-weekly trips there. So they only pick up your granite once every two weeks, and that is just to bring it to Cashmere to be cut. We went to Pental, but I would suggest going to one of the more friendly, service-oriented dealers and skip Pental. Anyway, Bob (the measurer for Moonlight) is great and patient. He takes time to explain any options and asks just what the customer is looking for when he comes out. Stacy (the owner) is very good about laying out the plan and giving accurate quotes, and she is reasonable when working out customer service issues also. It's best to communicate with her over email but Mary ( the rep at the showroom) is great too at relaying information and customer service. And another thing you should know is that if you buy from them, you buy your granite by the slab, not by the square foot you use; this means that any part of the slab that is left over is then given to Moonlight, and they set it outside their building and don't re-sell it, but they allow people to come pick any leftovers they want to put in their home out and Moonlight will only charge for installation and the cutting process, which makes the granite for small areas very affordable. So use as much of the slab you purchase as you can. Stacy is really good at laying out the slabs so there is not much left over and you don't over-buy. The other thing I learned is that they are so busy that they are contracting with another company in Woodenville to cut the granite if they are running behind, which they didn't inform me of beforehand. The company did a fine job and I knew that Moonlight would guarantee their work, but I think I should have known that ahead of time. One perplexing thing about granite is that it's priced on a grading system of A,B,C, and D, and you don't really know the exact price per square foot until Stacy writes you up an exact quote. There is a form of price range, but the price per square foot can vary $20 or more in that range, so the price difference per slab can be quite significant. The Pental dealer was not very helpful in that regard either, so prepare for that shock. And demand to see the full slab of whichever granite you pick out- there are smudges and inconsistencies in each piece and don't rely on the dealer to let you know about them- you don't want a bald area that was not visible when you bought the slab because it was behind another slab. The dealer is not really overjoyed that you make them move the slabs out from each other so you can see the whole thing, but you are paying a lot of money for it and you have to look at it for a long time once it's installed. Moonlight is also very good at laying out the granite so if there are any problem areas, they can place the spot where the sink gets cut out and things like that. Their seams are great too and Stacy lays out your granite so they do as few seams as possible. I would definitely recommend Moonlight again. I would also highly recommend that you go to Seattle and check out a dealer- there are so many more choices of countertops that I've never seen before and it's a lot of fun.

They were very responsive to my inquiries. They called me back when I left messages. They installed the granite and it looks great. I would definitely use them again.
