+ -1 moreI appreciated All Phase's promptness in getting the tree off our home, and their pricing was excellent. My only complaint was that they promised to return on Monday to remove the rest of the tree (as well as the branches that my husband and friends had removed during the storm on Thursday -- kudos for that) but we never saw anyone until Wednesday. Turns out that Kurt, the owner of the company, had lost his father over the weekend and had to fly out very quickly and very unexpectedly. We certainly don't hold this against him or the company ... but it would have been nice to have received a call to let us know that the latter portion of the job wouldn't be completed in the timeframe promised. That being said, we're planning to use All Phase again this fall to remove a dying aspen.
Description of Work: During the freak storm that occured on Thursday, July 7th, 2011, a 75-foot spruce tree was uprooted and crashed down on our house, punching numerous holes in our roof. While we secured tarps over the tree and roof to try to limit water damage that night, it was critical that the tree be removed as quickly as possible so that we could apply temporary patches to keep rain out, and to ensure we didn't sustain further roof and structural damage. I called three tree companies the following morning. One told me over the phone that they couldn't perform the work until Saturday and the second could do it that day and gave me a quote that was double the amount I paid to All Phase. All Phase made it clear that they couldn't complete the entire job on Friday, but assured me they would remove the portion from the roof in order to prevent further damage that day. Within two hours of when they provided the bid, the All Phase workers returned to begin the job. They secured the tree before beginning work (earning kudos from my insurance adjuster who was on site) and removed all of the tree from our roof, as promised. They returned the following week to remove the rest of the tree and to grind the stump.

+ -1 moreWe dealt with Kurt and he was great, very personable and professional. He isn't a certified arborist, but he is working towards it. His crew was very slow and careful. I felt like they made nice cuts on our precious 50+ year old silver maple. They were a little delayed on starting the job, about a week later than originally scheduled, but it was prime summer tree trimming season.
Description of Work: Trimmed a big tree in front and removed a medium size tree in back.
