Description of Work: We purchased a home on on 5 acres on the Washougal River and the yard had not been taken care of in a long time. We contacted Shawn and he came out and gave us a bid. We did the landscaping in sections. Even though we added additional jobs as it went a long Shawn was always kind enough to assist us. His landscape team was the best we have ever worked with. They were professional, did an excellent job, always smiled even when working in 100 degree weather or when there was a down pour of rain. The results? Absolutely beautiful. We just love it and get ooohs and aaaahs all the time. Great Job Shawn, and to your team.

Description of Work: The communication between Sean and Silba was horrific. Silba does not know what she is doing and does a terrible job of managing the day to day operations of the project. We had intended to use them but backed out at the last minute because the commucation between these two was so poor.

+ -1 moreShawn came to our place, looked over the beds and trees we wanted irrigated, took pictures, asked questions, and submitted a bid a few days later for the work. We decided to hire him to complete the work needed. He and his crew showed up on time and spent two full days digging trenches, setting up a timer system, laying in underground piping and establishing spray and drip points where needed. The system is fully functioning and we are happy with the work done. The price of the project was very fair, especially as we saw the quality of the work and the efforts on the part of the crew. Shawn was professional and easy to communicate with. His crew was made up of hard working guys who stayed focused and completed the work in a timely fashion. We would recommend Suncrest Landscaping and Design to others in need of irrigation/landscaping services.
Description of Work: Shawn and his crew installed an irrigation system for our raised beds, fruit trees, flower beds, and bushes.

+ 2 moreThe work went very, very well. Crew came each day on-time and many days worked well into the early evening, as needed. They were professional and considerate. We asked each of the three companies we received bids to incorporate their ideas as well. Suncrest was the only company that thoughtfully provided input to the design process. We started with a landscaping plan we had for about 10 years that we were ready to execute. But after discussing the plan with Suncrest, Shawn had a number of ideas that we used that made the whole project much better in terms of overall design and flow, as well as not increasing the cost. Overall, the attention to detail as well as the quality of work, and listening to what we wanted from a conceptual perspective and incorporating those ideas into the project was outstanding.
Description of Work: Removed all lawn. Constructed a two tiered wall in front of house and left/right of steps, install east side steps, install stepped highland wall along east and west side of home, install large flagstone path, install irrigation system, install west side paver path and steps, install 10 ft radius sitting area on west side, install two cedar screens on west side, add soil/bark to all areas, clean existing back pavers and resand, install cedar screening under back porch.

Description of Work: We spoke to Shawn and Silva at the Clark County Garden Show. They said they would call to set up an appointment for an estimate on a large retaining wall. After a couple of weeks Silva left a message. I had trouble reaching her again to set the appointment although she did have a list of excuses to explain. An appointment was set. On the day of the appointment I got a message at 1 pm cancelling my 5 pm appointment. Again I had trouble reaching them to reschedule. I set the new appointment a month out, but I had to cancel this appointment. I called seven days prior to the appointment to reschedule. I was ignored. I called again two days later. Again I was ignored. I called the morning of the appointment and finally reached Silva. I was upset about being ignored, but she only offered a list of excuses(many of the same ones I had heard earlier). Apparently my time or satisfaction is not important to this company. I have worked with many contractors over the past few years, and I have never been ignored like this.

+ 0 moreThe job went absolutely great. The crew worked at a very fast pace and finished the job when promised. The bubbler has now been installed for a month and is working beautifully. This is actually the second time we have used Suncrest Landscaping at our home to resolve poor quality work that was done when our house was built. I think Shawn Ramirez is very knowlegeabe on any subject concerning landscaping and it's design. Any project we have in the future, Suncrest Landscaping and Design will be our first choice. I would urge anyone looking for a quality company that is service oriented with a great owner and crew to check out Suncrest Landscaping and Design.
Description of Work: Suncrest Landscaping installed a bubbler at our property. They had to completely disassemble the existing mess of a bubbler we had installed at our new home 3 plus years ago by a company on Angie's list. I won't mention the name of the company here, as I don't want it to be confused with Suncrest Landscaping, but will address it on there listing.

+ 0 moreI contacted Suncrest Landscape and Design to get a bid on the removal of my old lawn (5,000 sf.) and installation of a new hydro-seed lawn. Owner Shawn Ramirez came out and was very nice and professional and discussed my options and then took measurements to give me a bid. Within the next day I received an email with the description of work to be done and the cost. After a day to review and verify Pricing I contacted Shawn to accept his bid and give the go ahead to start work. Within several days his crew was out to start the removal of the old lawn. My wife was at home and stated that she was extremely impressed with how hard the crew worked and within the day the old lawn was gone. Within another day and 1/2 the area was ready for hydro-seed. After a few days the hydro-seed people came out and blew on the new lawn. We are now watering and waiting for the lawn to grow. I am pleased with Suncrests work and would contact them again if I need any work in the Future. Thanks Shawn

+ 1 moreWe hadn't signed the contract yet because it was raining and we were waiting for the weather to be right. They brought lights over and set up a display in the yard and everything, but we got a call from Oakland for my son who lives in California because he was taken to hospital. He was very ill and he had no insurance and there went my landscaping budget. We called Suncrest Landscaping and Design and explained that to them and they were just wonderful about it. They could have held me to that although we did not sign anything, so we would definitely go back to them once we have our budget squared out. They were very professional, very friendly, and easy going. They were very understanding of the situation we were in. They were going to put in a date forest and a path way and it was about $8000 or $9000 worth of work they were going to do.
Description of Work: We were all lined up 3 or 4 weeks ago to have some lighting put in the yard and landscaping done by Suncrest Landscaping & Design.

+ 0 moreThey came in and it was supposed to be a two day job. There were a crew of 6 guys and they brought in a huge truck and they had this hose which was 12 inches in diameter and they blew I don’t know how many tons of dirt back here. They built the whole yard up and then relocated our sprinklers, leveled everything back there and put in a new lawn. I spent around $4500 on that service. They moved all trees and the guys just worked like crazy back there and it was unbelievable. Everything went well.
Description of Work: I used Suncrest Landscaping & Design a year ago and they redid our whole back yard because when it was initially done there was a slope and it turned into a swamp.
