Description of Work: They put mole traps in the lawn where tunnels were located. There was no mole activity for 2 mths and then we spotted another dirt mound. It's all about mole management!

+ -1 moreThey were wonderful! They came out when they promised which was within 24 hours of me contacting them. They said the amount of spiders was perfectly normal, but they did spray and leave traps as well. They guaranteed the work for 90 days and will come out within that time frame if needed.

Description of Work: He came, checked out the area and set traps. He told me he didn't think I had moles but wasn't sure what it was. He told me he would not charge me if he didnt trap anything.

+ -1 moreI called on a Tuesday morning, and their first available slot was Wednesday morning (not too bad). I was told the exterminator would call between 9am and noon, just before he was ready to come out. He called at 11am, and arrived less than ten minutes later. The young man who came out was very nice and respectful, and answered all of my many questions with patience and a smile. I believe the total cost for treatment outside and inside was $195 before tax, and this covers 90 days. He told me that if I have any concerns I can just call them and he will come out and retreat any trouble spots. So far, I am quite satisfied.
Description of Work: Treated for spiders, sprayed the perimeter of the house and applied a natural powder to some areas inside, according to my wishes.

Description of Work: I manage several apartment buildings in NW and NE Portland, and have used Bugaboo for a few years now for the treatment of sugar ants, and, on occasion, mice. Up until, say, the summer of 2012, everything has been just fine. I call the office, explain the problem, make an appointment, and the technician shows up to take care of the issue. Billing is usually fast, results are good, and I have no complaints. Since approximately late-summer of '012 though, my experience, or should I say, lack of experience with them has shocked me. I call the office, (on the same number I have always used), and go straight to the answering machine. I leave a message, and after that, absolutely nothing. No call-back, no show, (despite my leaving very specific details), and, obviously, no treatment of the problem. If this was just a one-time occurance, I would understand, but this has happened several times now. It's as if they've disappeared from the face of the earth! I've actually given their number out to others that were looking for a pest control service, and they've had the same experience. Who knows what's happened to them..? Very weird.

+ -1 moreThey came and took care of the sugar ants, but I have dealt with them before for my units in Vancouver with the owner, for cockroaches and other pests. I have known them for five years. They do a good service. They are on time. They tell me the facts. They work happily and come out and do what they need to have done. I would rate them highly. I would use them again in the future.

+ -1 moreI think I spent right around a $100 on their services. Overall the job went very well. They took care of the problem and they used some kind of non-toxic product that wouldn't be harmful to humans or pets. When I had a problem within a month in a slightly different location, they came back and took care of that, and didn't charge me any more money. The man that came and took care of the initial problem had come on his day off to do it for me. I don't have anything to compare their price to but I thought their price was reasonable. I will absolutely use their services again in the future.

Description of Work: Mitchell checked for mice even checking a closet and drawers that I didn't want to check. He screened off the air ducts under the house after locating a trail, sealed any areas that might be used by the mice, spread poison under the house, set traps in the house just in case and explained that the goal of Bugaboo's service is to eliminate the possibility of mice returning.

Description of Work: Exterminated 2 yellow jacket nests in my attic, all in one visit. Also came back a month later to exterminate a nest in the ground and did not charge for this 2nd visit. The worker said it was included as part of the first visit's guarantee.

+ -1 moreThis was a good experience. They came right out after we called them. They sprayed all the spots, they didn t miss anything. They advised us what to look for in case of future problems. These ants are between 1/2 - 3/4 inch big; they are big enough to give names to. I took the warranty plan because if I ever have a problem in three years they will take care of it. We haven t had anymore in over eight months already. I had priced several services and they were right there with everyone else. The service was $350 with the warranty.
Description of Work: We had problems with carpenter ants. They came here and sprayed inside and outside our home. They also sprayed the basement of our 3000 square-foot home. We took the 3-year warranty plan so they will come again for free if we see anymore carpenter ants.

This company was referred to my by a relative and it didn't occur to me to verify the price before hand. The $275 price tag was 3 times what I was expecting. It was not made clear to me up front what the charge would be and that was because it was for a one year guarantee. I think the company could have been more up front about the pricing.
