"Excellent Customer Service" Solvang Painting Company, Inc. was recommended by Parker Paint store. I called around and set up three estimates for interior painting. Solvang Painting Company, Inc. was a few dollars cheaper but, consistent with the other bids. Greg Solvang ( President ) was prompt in returning all my phone calls. Greg came over twice. The first time to conduct a free in-home estimate. We initially talked about painting certain areas of the ceilings inside my home. A few days later, I called Greg to discuss other options in painting and voicing some concerns. Greg came over again, the second time and bring along his son - Bryan Solvang. Greg informed me that Bryan would be in-charge of the paint crew and wanted him to have first hand knowledge of the work that needed to be done. I explained that the wife and I were arguing about whether or not to paint the ceilings the same color as the walls. The color we choose was ? bright white. Bryan mentioned that having white walls and ceilings would give the appearance of being to sterile. Bryan explained that having consistency through-out and leaving the ceilings the same color ( which is tan ) would compliment the white walls better. Bryan recommended accenting certain areas on the walls to show off the home better. Bryan showed-up on time with his crew. They worked on Thursday and Friday. Bryan even worked a few hours longer on Friday in-order to have the bulk of the work completed before the weekend. A paint crew member ? named Mike came back on Monday to finish up the work. We conducted a walk through of the areas painted. Mike-corrected all deficiency noted. My wife and I was very happy with the finished painting through-out our home. All our family and friends were astonish with the major transformation. The tan ceilings and white walls turned out amazingly beautiful. Bryan attention to detail and professionalism set the standards for others to emulate. I'm already thinking about painting my master bedroom next year and defiantly planning on having Solvang Painting Company, Inc. back again.
