Robert S. Bogar is the sole proprietor of Critical Areas Consulting and has been conducting environmental consulting for over 15 years in Washington, Oregon and California. Bob Bogar is a licensed geologist in Washington and works with his brother John Bogar to conduct asbestos, lead and mold testing in homes and offices in western Washington.

Services we offer

Critical Areas Consulting will come to your home or office and test for asbestos (we are AHERA certified), lead paint (RRP certified) or mold. Typically, the cost to homeowners to sample for asbestos, lead or mold is $225 plus a per sample cost of from $20 (asbestos) to $50 (lead) depending on the sample type. For larger projects (demolitions for example) costs may be higher.

Services we don't offer

We do not conduct removal/abatements so there is no conflict of interest. But we can help you find a contractor if needed.
