The job was to replace a high ceiling fan. The job was estimated to be about $450. When the job was completed the electricians said the estimate from Brad was about right and that I would receive an invoice in the mail. The invoice arrived and I was charged $866. I was prepared for an amount a little more than the estimate, but not this much more. The 1st electrician did a good job though.

It didn't. But Todd responded very quickly to let me know that they don't handle that sort of thing (thanks for the honesty) AND giving me a recommendation for someone who could. Super helpful! :)

C & R came out two days earlier than promised, and were able to fix the problems in less than an hours time. They were awesome!

Very well. Responded to request quickly and had repairs done the same day. And, because electricity was out, and as a result heat was also out, they were very good about keeping me informed about progress - and when electricity could be restored.

Have used C & R before, and they are the most professional, reliable and fair priced company. Their electricians are amazingly neat, efficient, helpful and courteous. In the past, have referred this company to many clients and everyone has been most pleased. I would not hesitate referring C & R.

Called C&R to deal with some issues with our newly acquired house. They were great. Everything was done as professionally as possible. The cost of the new 200 amp service was significantly lower than the other bids I had received. (The city inspector who came to look it over told me that the was looking at it but he really didn't need to because C&R always does everything perfectly.) When Jared came to look at my flickering light problem, which I noticed was causing my meter to spin like a CD, he thought for a moment and wanted to look at the water heater. He found that the wire nuts were so loose that there was some kind of blah blah blah going on. Any way, no more flickering lights and my electric usuage was cut IN HALF. That's right, half my usage was just being wasted by some weird 240 volt phenomenon. So i'm saving about $100/month just on that. I will be calling and recommending C&R whenever I can.

Well they came out on short notice and they have always been on time. Over the years we've had them several times, that's the first electrical company we would contact. We don't know of any others, because we were very pleased with them.

They've always been reasonable, on time, and do a nice job. I like that they can come out for a bid and give the bid on time. When they come out and do the work, it's always what they estimated for. They're prompt and clean up after themselves. Their bids are comparable with the other bids that I got. I'll use them the next time I need some electrical work done.

Everything was done as expected. Very professional.

They were easy to get in touch with. They responded quickly with a quote and when we gave the go ahead they came out and did the work when they said they would, in the time they said it would take, and for the amount of money they quoted.

Gave estimate which was better than competors and did the work as agreed.

It went just fine. They were close by. I had somebody else come out and they wanted to replace the entire panel.

We had been trying to get bids from electricians since early December to upgrade our heaters. Many didn't call back. Those that did missed appointments to give estimates on multiple occasions. What a treat, then, to work the professionals at Cand R Electric: prompt, reliable, honest, etc. They came when they said they would for the estimate. They came when they said they would to do the work. They had to come back because we decided to order and then install an additional heater at their recommendation (a VERY good choice too as we had slightly miscalculated number of watts we were getting in our new heaters!). They cleaned up so thoroughly at the end of each day that if it hadn't been for the newly-functioning heaters and lights and outlets they left behind, we wouldn't have known that they were here. The price of the work was steeper than expected, but sitting in the quiet, steady, and thermostatically-controlled warmth of the new radiant heaters by the new lights above the dining room table, I am more than satisfied.

I have been working with the guys at C and R for more then 25 years, and have known them for 40. They are great and when I needed a service panel upgrade, I knew who to call. It was done in an afternoon, very professional (I am a home inspector, and I have personally inspected over 1400 panels). Top notch work, reasonable price and fast turn around. I am always nervous when a client asks me for a recommendation as I don't want a flake to hurt my reputation. I never give a second thought to recommending them. I always get great feedback from my clients.

The comcast employee was overwhelmed by the complexity in our utility closet (The home has complicated wiring for alarm, cameras, cat 5 etc). Cand R sent the electrician who did the original work and he was able to quickly setup everything and explain our system to us.

The worker from Cand R was very good. They gave me a very detailed quote with multiple options to solve the problems we were having with the original panel. They didn't over or under estimate anything, it was all very straight forward.. They're a little bit expensive. They aren't the cheapest in town but they do very good work. Overall it was a very comfortable experience and I liked their work.

Went very well. They gave me the appointment date the same day I called. The tech arrived within the time period they gave.

The estimator was professional. Some things on the estimate seemed high, so he offered to go materials and labor in the event I might come out a little ahead. It turns out that I did, although barely considering the challenges they ran into with our old '50s circuitry. He always responded to my emails although it might not be right away. Once we chose them to do the work, we dealt with their main office. The folks at their office are very nice and helpful on the phone (but be prepared to leave voice mails for people who are out working). The scheduled work took two days, as expected. There was a longer gap between the first and second work day than I wanted, but it turned out alright. They solved some problems well and were more than willing to have our input if they faced a problem with the original plan. The Journeyman electrician we had was excellent. He knows his stuff. We had a few instances of the office lights surging a little when dimmed low. They came in, check it out. It hasn't happened since, although they have assured us that if it does they will set it right.

They did a good job according to the inspector. They did not clean up as well as I would have liked but the work was good. At first, I wasn't sure of the workers they sent out but the second day they came out, they were fine.

I have used this company several times before with great success. They are very professional, take the time to answer my questions, and come at the time promised. They are not the cheapest around I suspect but when it comes to electrical, I'm willing to pay a little more for good quality work.

I was very pleased with Cand R because they were forthright and honest. They could have easily replaced the whole panel, but instead told us what was wrong and did the work quickly and efficiently. They are very professional and saved me a lot of money.

I thought that Cand R were just great. They were very professional, and stepped in to help us out when a mis-communication with an electrical inspection occurred; to a huge relief it was resolved in our favor, which was greatly appreciated.

They had to cancel one appointment with us but that they work that they did was flawless.

THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS THAT THEY DID A GREAT JOB WHAT ELSE CAN I SAY, I DID GIVE A LOT OF PEOPLE THEIR NUMBER, BECAUSE THEY WERE SO GOOD. THEY DID A GREAT JOB.
