We are quite happy with the system. It does what we expected, and operates properly. After install, free pool heating ! There were two initial; install problems: 1) thermal expansion of header piping on roof pulled up a couple of roof attachments. this was fixed by slightly changing the position of the attachments to allow free movement of the header in the direction of maximum thermal expansion (longest run of header piping) 2) Original install had water return from pool going directly to solar array - this would allow any debris in the stream to enter the array, potentially clogging it. This was fixed by re-piping to run return water through filter prior to going to solar array. There was an initial design challenge to install the array on a flat roof area while maintaining a sufficient drain angle. This was solved. Troy and crew Gunnar and Helen did a great job, and were nice to have around. Hot Solar Solutions has been absolutely responsive in post install support, which is probably the most important aspect of service for this system. We are well pleased.
