+ -1 moreDave the climber and his assistant, Josh, showed up on the appointed day with the necessary tools. It was truly impressive watching a guy with spikes on his feet reduce a 75 foot Douglas fir to a pile of branches and rounds in 90 minutes. All without dropping anything on the house or the power wires. I'd have destroyed everything within 75 feet if I would have attempted this, provided I didn't fall out of the tree first. The Elm took a lot longer because of its wider branch angle variance - it went beyond their allotted time (there was another scheduled tree job to be done). Dave and Josh had to return the next day to cut the large stump and trunk into splittable rounds - I appreciated this as me and my puny saw would take hours to do what the pros with a big Stihl did in minutes. Charles, the owner, was at my place multiple times - the initial quote, starting the job, checking on the crew and final inspection.
Description of Work: I had two large trees that needed to be removed. One was a 40 year old former Christmas fir that was close to my and my neighbor's house as well as our respective power wires that were threatened with every ice and wind storm. The other was a a large 60 year old Elm with some sort of blight that was causing it to spontaneously drop large heavy branches where I'd rather be mowing the lawn alive. As I have the wherewithal to take care of the branches, this was what Charles referred to as a "drop and go".

+ -1 moreHe did everything he said he would do. The climber did an excellent job without damaging the home. The crew itself did a great job. It was a reasonable price. I would recommend them to anybody.
Description of Work: I hired them to cut down trees and grind the stumps.
