+ -1 moreWe decided we were going to get this patio and wall done to complete our unfinished backyard. We interviewed 5 contractors, and Lucibelle was the second best price, most honest seeming, most responsive, and most eager. We liked Andy, negotiated a bit on price, and got a deal that was fair for both parties. His team started work the next week (as agreed) and completed the job one day early. It was 9 business days of work, and it went smoothly from start to finish. Andy was incredibly responsive to feedback, and answered all of our many questions about how the work was going to be done. We had considered doing the job ourselves initially, so we had a lot of technical questions about process and materials, and he handled that with a lot of grace and good humor. When the job was done we knew we had chosen wisely, as the project looked exactly the way we had imagined it. It's an amazing new living space for our home, and we couldn't be happier with the final result.
Description of Work: we had a 45+ foot curved retaining wall put in across the back fence for a planting bed, and a 600+ sq.ft concrete paver patio put in, with one curved step out from the slider. The retaining wall is about 18 inches high, and is made from Mutual Materials Celtik Block, arranged in a jumper pattern. The patio is made from three colors of Mutual Materials Roman Dominion block in squares, small recs, and large recs, arranged in a random pattern. The patio was gravel and sand set. Lucibelle put in three drain connections under the patio for quick drying. They also installed a water and electrical conduit under the patio to the back bed in case we ever want to wire for lighting or soaker hoses.
