Spray on foam insulated my house with spray in Icynene. We were residing the house and had to pull off all of the exterior siding, this opened the stud bays for easy filling. They needed to work with siding company to fill the spaces as we did not want to take off all of the siding at once (as this would compromise the structural integrity of the house). They were very accommodating. I also had them air seal the attic and rim joists while they were here. There is some overspray/over expansion into spaces inside the house. However, we expected this as expanding foam finds all of the holes, in this case holes around window trim and back of kitchen cabinets. I was pleased with the work, they are a low key contractor and were easy to work with. I also used a 3rd party (Revival Energy Group) to test the air sealing. The results were spectacular! We reduced our air leakage by 30%. Any tighter and we would have had to bring in make-up air to the house, a pronominal improvement on a house built in 1910. The tester was wowed with the results as it was significantly better than they expected.
Description of Work: Spayed Icynene into wall cavity's, air sealed the attic, air sealed rim joists.

Mike Homola was the person that came for the quote. He was pretty informative and understood what I wanted. He came in with a pretty decent price. The only thing I didn't like is I said I wanted 5.5 inches on the walls and 9.5 inches on the ceiling and he came back quoting 4.7 inches and 8.5 inches. So if I use him, I would have to ask him to re-quote it with what I actually requested, which I probably will do.
Description of Work: Spray-On Foam & Coatings Inc gave me a quote for insulation.

They were excellent. They worked within my schedule and were very flexible. Some of the foam insulation ruined some of my things which weren't covered. We didn't notice until it was too late, which is at no fault of the company, but was disappointing.
Description of Work: They did some spray insulation in our garage.

They did a very good, professional job. They completed it in the time frame that was estimated. There was one item that had foam on it and they replaced the item right away. They also had reasonable pricing.
Description of Work: Spray-On Foam & Coatings reinsulated our attic.

Great experience from start to finish.
Description of Work: Doing a refresh of the siding on the front of the house. When we removed the siding we found that there was no insulation in the wall. I gave thee guys a call and they were out the next day to take a look and give an estimate. Estimate was good and they came the next day and in a couple of hours they were finished and did a great job.

They met expectations. The work was done with great professionalism, great quality -- didn't miss a thing -- and I measured depths all over the room, and was clean. The company was able to do the work with very little notice. I was quite impressed. They picked up a negative-air machine from another local business (Craig Schmidt of Western Spray Foam), who was willing to loan the machine to me for free. They came back the next day to remove the machine, allowing it to operate for an extended amount of time to clear the air -- class act. Overall, the experience was quite good. I recommend them. The cost was very competitive as well and they didn't take any short-cuts -- no heaters were used, for instance. Also, they came prepared to use a full set of foam on my job -- they did not try to use leftovers, for instance.
Description of Work: They sprayed Demilec Heatlok Soy (closed cell) Foam in an approx. 250 sq ft. wine cellar. They sprayed 3" on most walls and ceiling, and 4" on an outside wall.

The two guys who did the work did an excellent job. The office was very professional handling payment. The job-site was kept clean. All studs were flat and received drywall well. The company was able to do the work with little notice. I was impressed with the overall quality of the work -- nothing was "missed", and I checked a slew of hidden areas I thought they might have missed. Exceeded expectations in all ways. I am sensitive to the smell, so I had a negative-air machine used for the job. The guys picked it up, set it up, and removed it the following day. I was very impressed. Hats off to Craig Schmitt of Western Spray Foam for lending the machine -- he has 5 of them. I STRONGLY recommend the use of a negative air machine, given the very dangerous fumes that are created during the spraying process.
Description of Work: The company sprayed Demilec Closed-cell Heatlok Soy in a 250-ish sq ft. wine cellar for a reasonable price. The key difference between open and close cell is that closed cell is only semi-permeable and acts as a vapor barrier. They sprayed 3" on most walls and ceiling, and 4" on an outside wall.

I had originally interviewed another contractor, but after double checking with the Demelic area representative and finding that contractor's claims to be false and the estimate outrageous, I Googled Spray Foam Insulation and found the "Spray on Foam Company". The company is family owned and operated and our salesman, Mike, proudly told me he is the founder's son-in-law. The waiting list was substantial but we took our chances there might be a cancellation...and there was! The application took less than 2 days. The smell was awful but we opened all the doors and windows (closing off all parts of the house we could). The smell was mild the next day, however it still lingers after a week in the sprayed area. Once the walls and ceiling are sheetrocked the smell will be contained. After completion, Spray on Foam found their estimate of $5527.20, had been inaccurate and the company REFUNDED me $1,318.15!!!
Description of Work: Demelic Sealection 500 Open Cell Spray Foam was applied to the open rafters & open wall studs in our remodeled living room, dining room and the attic's open roof deck. The rate was $1.55 per square foot for 2x4 walls @ 3 1/2" thickness; $1.80 sq ft 2x6 walls @ 5 1/2"; $2.30 sq ft for 2x10 walls @ 8". The foam is stored in liquid form in 55 gal drums in the service truck. Long hoses run from the drums to the work site. The application entails mixing, then spraying the liquid to completely fill and seal the area to be insulated. It is Magic!
