We were new in town and just bought a house that needed to have the flooring replaced and the interior repainted. We did not know anyone in the area so we ask our real estate agent if she knew anyone that could help us out. She recommended Shane Katak. We were a little apprehensive because he did not have any reviews, but decided to have him come out and look at the job and give us an estimate. When we met him at our place to review the work, he went through the entire project with us and offered some excellent advice. We did contract with him and he did an excellent job and we are very pleased with the results. Bottom line: His price was good and he did an excellent job.

I was having the floor of the bathroom in one of my rental units replaced. Underlayment and vinyl flooring. The floor installer noticed a bit more moisture damage than we had thought had occurred, and that he could not continue until it was repaired, but that he could not do the repair. I had heard of Angie's list on the news, and called them up. I joined the service and told them what I needed. They gave me 4 names in my area. I selected LE Burgess, which based in a nearby community. Since LE Burgess does mostly remodels and finish work, they recommended Shane at Jatak. Shane got back to me the same day. He rearranged his schedule to accommodate my need for expediency and completed the job in fine fashion, within a week. Much earlier than anyone else I called could do it. He gave me a commercial discount for being a landlord, and charged me a very reasonable price. I'm sold, and will be using Shane again in the future. He said he specializes in being flexible, and doing the quick repair. He works with many real estate companies.
