I had an ant problem that couldn't be solved by other pest control providers and sunrise came in and got the job done. They were professional, reasonably priced and enjoyable to deal with

The technicians who were out were thorough, informative and timely. We should have no repeat experiences.

So far we think it went well in terms of results. Time will tell on that. Meanwhile, the technicians are excellent to work with!

Great. Did 2 treatments and haven't seen any since.

Extremely poor service from technicians and office. We requested service to have a technician determine the species, extent, and severity of the infestation, strategically set traps and other rodent control devices, and prepare a written service report. Additionally the tech was to complete an Exclusion Survey consisting of an inspection of the building for rodent, bird, and other pest access points and infestation damage, and an itemized price quotation for each of the specific repairs or corrections that are needed. Our technician informed us he found no entry points, set some traps and left without providing any paperwork. We still had rodent issues, nothing was caught. The office said that the technician noted we should check out the roof adjointments and bird blocks. This was never mentioned verbally or in the written report. On my day off, I searched all along the property and found several entry points at ground level and on the second floor roof. I'm not sure why after spending 2 hours on property, the technician couldn't find these easy identifiable points of entry. We hired them for their expertise and because we just didn't have the time to do the work! I have since sealed up every point of entry I found. I've reported this back to the office and they still do not take any accountability. After $600 bucks down the drain with this company, we're looking for someone else. In summary, I'm upset with the poor service provided and poor communication that if done up front probably could've resulted in some rodents captured. Now I have to find another company after wasting $600 bucks with this company for zero results.

When Sunrise picked up the traps and rodent bait stations, they did not provide us with a hardcopy receipt leading me to believe this was a no-charge discontinuation of service like they previously told me. After a month or so, I noticed a two late payment notices in my very infrequently checked email spam folder. Multiple late payment notices without a single phone call or regular post mail notice? I didn?t think they sent us statements by email, since they have always provided us with a normal hardcopy receipt. I discovered a statement for a follow-up service that cost $97 to remove the traps versus what they previously told me that trap removal was free. I called Sunrise and asked them why I was charged. They said that it was because they checked the traps while removing them and that we supposedly authorized it. Unlike other statements that have my signature authorizing service, the statement they provided does not. I just wanted them to remove their traps and discontinue service, all of which should have been free.

They did a great job, and I would recommend them to anybody.

They always call to make appointments. The worker, Lee, is always on task and he just takes care of it. He shows up early in the morning, because I get off work at 7:00 a.m. and I'm still up until about 9:00 a.m. So he comes early in the morning for me, just to be convenient. I started using them because my daughter recommended them to me. He's not judgmental. He went around and showed me any areas of concern that he had, that needed to be corrected. He could do it for me or I could do it myself. So it wasn't just coming in and setting up stuff, he also showed me how to correct my issues. My experience with him was very good. I didn't necessarily want people to come around my house looking for rats, but he made me comfortable and it worked. He also gives me the convenience of giving me a courtesy call when he's going to show up and because he comes early just because I work nights. He makes it work for me. They also leave me a voice message when they call me to tell me they're coming out, because they know I don't want to be woken up during the day. I would absolutely use them in the future.

They were good and they did exactly what they said they would do. They were reliable and showed up to do the job. They were competitive, they have a good price although it was not cheap.

It went fine. They come back out free of cost if after they spray I still see insects in or around my home. They are always on time and very professional.

Came four times, caught two moles. Haven't seen any since!

The 2nd person who came, used a product that wasn't used previously, and it is still on my floor, despite repeated mopping. I can't get down on my hands and knees and scrub it up, because I recently had knee surgery. This took place just before my surgery, and we were very unhappy, with the mess that we had to clean, and we found out that a lot of it just came up with the swifter, but some of it really seems to be embedded in the floor. I decided that the sugar ants seem to be a seasonal nuisance, and I will not have a pest control come out for that. I thought they were expensive. They respond very quickly, but whenever they schedule the appointment, they say they will be there between a broad range of hours, and he came at the tail end of the range. I stayed home the whole morning, and when I called they said I was the last one on the list, and I wish they would have told me that in advance. I found their technicians to be very professional, and very helpful. My only problems was the guy who used the different product, and we still have some residue on the floor.

The service is good. One person comes out and it takes about half an hour to spray. I would recommend them.

Scheduling was fairly painless. Received an appointment between 2 and 5 pm. Guy showed up a little after 4 pm. Overall, I felt like we were giving him all the help and answers. We had ants in our kitchen and laundry room next to the kitchen and that's where the bait went. He didn't look around anywhere else. He did go under the house and said we had some wet foundation but he didn't know where it was coming from (I had to go look after he left. One was from our A/C unit dripping condensation and not sure on the other side. Could be the wife watering the grass and gardens quite a bit). These guys he called and quot;moistureand quot; ants. He sprayed around the perimeter and left. Seemed like $250 was alot for getting so little. Maybe that's common in the pest removal world, I don't know. Then they wanted to come back out in 2 weeks and charge another $79! And guess what? There are still ants in the laundry room and there are ants walking around all over outside. Not too impressed.

Sunrise's advertised "free estimate" is misleading. When I called, the Sunrise representative gave me their standard one-time treatment cost and then tried upselling me to an extended treatment program. My description of the problem seemed irrelevant. To get a meaningful "free estimate", a Sunrise technician would have to make an inspection. Their fee for an on-site consultation was about $100 more than the other exterminator I contacted.

I feel this company doesn't treat the problem properly so they can come out 4 times and charge you each time. Their pricing is high, but not the highest out there. My problem is that they come out so many times before the job is done. Ants are hard to control. I called another company I found on Angies list and they took care of the problem in half the visits.

I live in Louisiana and Mom's house is in Port Angeles, WA. I packed my mothers things and moved her to Louisiana in April, 2013, and put the house up for sale. October 2013 we had a buyer who had the house inspected and reported that the house had termites. This buyer backed out of the deal. As soon as I got the report of termites knew I had to have the house treated. I chose Sunrise because I saw a receipt in the house from Sunrise and figured if my step father and my mother had used Sunrise I would do the same. I called Sunrise and made an appointment for October 17, 2013. Since I was in Louisiana I had one of Mom's former caregivers meet the exterminator at the house and let him in. The caregiver said the Sunrise Pest Control employee, Robert, arrived on time and did a thorough job. Robert called me after he finished. He was willing to spend the time on the telephone explaining the situation to me and gave me a very honest and informative report of the ant infestation. Robert wrote: and quot;Sprayed c.s, perimeter, drilled and injected, saw a lot of frass in c.s. some dead c.a., no live activity, not too much damage in woodand quot;. I gave my credit card number to Sunrise and they charged the account for the correct amount as they said they would and then they sent a PDF of the receipt the next day. Robert found no termites, just black ants. Robert suggested I get a bi-monthly contract but I thought we would have the house sold soon so I did not make a contract. Had I made a monthly contract with Sunrise there would not be a problem with the ants any more. I was not at the house again for 1 year until March, 2014, when I had to go to Port Angeles, WA. I stayed in the house for a week at that time and I did not see any ants anywhere in or around the house. We got a new realtor and listed the house again in March of 2014. I went back to Louisiana on March 6th, 2014. The new realtor had a new buyer who had the house inspected. The new inspector claimed there were black ants in the crawl space and recommended we get the house inspected by a structural inspector. I called Sunrise to have them treat the house. They said since the house was not treated for 6 months they would have to charge for an initial treatment, about $320.00. The lady I was talking to suggested that I not get the house treated until the report was back from the structural inspector and after that we would take it from there. I thought this was very fair. The real estate agent got an inspector to check out the house. He reported that there were ants in the house but there was no structural damage. I told the real estate agent I had an account with Sunrise and that I will call them and make an appointment for them to treat the house but the real estate agent told me she had an exterminator who charged less and she used them regularly. I let her handle the problem. I personally I would call Sunrise again because the Robert and the office personal seemed like they were professional and were willing to explain everything to me on the telephone and sent me a written report since I was not there in person and when I did call them in April 2014 the person who answered the phone did not do a hard sell but rather suggested that I have a structural inspection before doing the pest control treatment. Sunrise is scheduled to visit our home every other month, which they do consistently, and then to send us a bill in the mail. Their price was the same for six years, and increased modestly last year (2013). We have had no problems with pests they treat for during the years they have provided service. When we have had mice problems the provided bait stations and now attend to them on each visit, as part of their normal visits (no additional cost). When we have had wasps in the attic and under the eves, they have treated them and eliminated the problem. When there was a large yellow jacket nest in the attic (50 and quot;beesand quot; per minute entering and exiting the nest), they went into the attic, treated it and removed the nest. (That work was billed as a separate activity, at about $225.) Then have been courteous, professional, and consistently and adequately performed those activities they could do cost effectively. They have suggested other alternatives for those tasks they were not well suited for, when asked for a quote. They have been on time for appointments, when work was scheduled at a specific time.

My expectation based on past experience with other companies was that a lot of the work would be done that day, andwould be covered in the initial cost. Items like covering obvious entry points with fine wire mesh and using excluder are normal. I didn't expect them to do construction but I did expect the easy items to be done. They were about $50 higher for the initial inspection and are twice the cost for bait station refills. The total cast for them to do the initial inspection, come back to fill bait stations and do some of the easier items would be over $1,000. I thought that was high. I will have someone else do the work to block entry points.

Had a sugar ant problem in my kitchen. Initial call was good. They asked several questions on the phone, gave me the quote, and scheduled me for a tuesday at 8:00am. They were promptly there at 8am to spray the outside along with the baseboard inside and the offending location where the ants were. He wore booties in the house as to not track dirt anywhere. By the next day there were no more signs of ants. Perfect job!
