My parents had a backed up sewer line and were without water/sewer for almost two weeks. Another plumbing company tried to resolve the problem. That company did not have the video camera equipment to inspect the line and recommended digging up the whole line and replacing it. We found Robison on Angie's List and called them to video the line. Ryan was the Robison technician for our job. He was fantastic. He identified the problem and returned two days later very early on a Friday and worked diligently, pushing hard to get the job done in time for the City to inspect the job before the weekend. He made the deadline, the City inspected and approved the work, and my parents had water/sewer again. We were all grateful for Ryan's work. Ryan is exactly the kind of plumber you want to show up when you need a job done and done well. Only one issue/recommendation: Although we rated Robison tops, my Dad said he would give them an 8/10 only because of the video camera equipment - but a 10/10 on all otherwise. We went ahead and rated tops but here's the deal with the equipment. The current video inspection equipment requires a VHS tape (we had an old tape around the house that we provided) and then the VHS needs to be transferred to DVD at Robison's office. The DVD was to be sent by mail to my parents but they have not yet received it. Likely just an oversight. We will give them a call and trust it will be sent soon. Understanding it is costly, it would be good if Robison invested in updating the equipment to DVD capability.

My water heater failed and flooded the bedroom of my manufactured home. I called Robison after calling all the other plumbers my friends recommended to me (about five), but all of them were busy. Robison was very polite on the phone; made sure they had the right water heater on the truck and arrived within 2 hours. The person on the phone could not give me an estimate either, so I asked if it would cost between $500 - $700 and she said it shouldn't be more than that. After three hours of work including adding an additional copper water line connection, I was given an un-itemized bill for about $1150.00. The repairman wanted a check for the whole amount on the spot. I told him I couldn't do that today, but I could give him a credit card for payment. He said no, and to call the office if I had a question. I called the office, explained my situation, said I could pay half now and the rest next week. She didn't like that. I asked about the credit card option and said they were not set up for credit cards, only checks and cash. I asked her if she could take a post-dated check to give me time to move some money around from some of my other accounts. She said that was fine as long as it was covered by the next day! I was quite upset. I wrote a check for the whole amount and gave it to the repairman who was waiting for it. I managed to shift some money around early the next day and the check cleared without a problem. I called back later and asked if I could get an itemized bill, but I was told they don't do that. I told her all I wanted was a breakdown of how much was labor and how much was parts. She again said that all charges were standard and came out of a book. I asked her why the estimate she gave me was so low, and she said that she didn't do the billing, the repairman did! I got no satisfaction from anyone at the company and made it a point to never recommend Robison to anyone at any time.

Called to get an estimate for a simple kitchen facet hose replacement (with a value who's connections are recessed and difficult to reach with tools). Refused to even give an estimate over the phone. Insisted they would have to send someone out to give an estimate and who would be able to do the work at the same time if estimate was acceptable. When challenged that this didn't allow for comparison with competitors, the representative was very arrogant - and quot;we've been in business for 28 years and this is what works for us, take it or leave itand quot;. Called two other providers who willingly gave me an estimate over the phone. I will never do business with someone with this attitude - 28 years or not.

Robison Plumbing was called after a vendor arranged by my home warranty company determined that my clog was a root intrusion (not the final determination). The other vendor wanted $700 "hydroblast" the line with no promise of clearing the blockage. Robison snaked the line and determined that there was no blockage they could clear with snake. The plumber then contacted the city to have them check the line from the house to the main line. The city arrived and discussed the situation with Robison plumbing. The city then "hydro-excavated the line and determined there was no blockage between the house and the mainline. The city then used their hydro-blast unit to find and remove a 5 foot plug of semi-solid sludge. This did clear the line and the city closed up the break in the pipe where they cleared the blockage. The city came back a few days later and installed a clean out outside of the house which did not exists before. Since these repairs I have not had any issues with a clogged mainline. Robison demenstrated a very high level of professionalism and knowledge of the city's unique sewer layout. In the end it was $300.00 well spent.

Plumber did give me an estimate before work started and I agreed to it only because I was leaving town the next day and had no time to call someone else. $489 to install a dishwasher?!! Are you kidding me?! I also had a very slow toilet and plumber said I needed a new toilet without checking out the drain. I trusted his judgement and had him install that as well. There is a leak or seeping around a drain and follows a crack in the basement floor that he determined was a cracked pipe under the floor so he gave me an estimate to remove concrete and install new piping to sewer. Because this seemed like a large job I got a second opinion. Turns out snaking the drain may have solved the problem and likely I didn't need a new toilet after all. Do I feel ripped off? You bet I do!! $1100 for the work that was done is outrageous! The other plumber said he would have installed the dishwasher for 250. Ripped me off once, but I will never call them again and I would advise anyone else to get a second opinion, probably could have saved myself $500.

They did a really great job. They're always expensive but they are very good and they come when you need them. They charge the same regardless of the hour and the day of the week.

Because we have an older house with some "creative" plumbing solutions from a previous owner, we knew that installing a new dishwasher was going to take a while. Robison's employee explained each step as he was doing it. It wasn't a quick job, but we appreciated the thoroughness.

When it was all done, it was okay. It was fine. It was kind of difficult for awhile. We had to increase our gas line to serve the tank heater. My point of contention was that we were told we did not need to upgrade our gas line from half-inch to three-quarter. So, we chose the water heater we chose because it would take the half-inch. Then, it turned out that nobody measured how far the distance was and did not realize that the tank less water heater we chose could only handle 24 feet of half-inch gas line, and we had about 35 feet. So we had another investment to them on gas line. It was frustrating. It added to the time that we had spent on installing it. We might have chosen a different heater if we had known. The people we came in contact with were fine. They were good. As far as coping with everything and carrying out, they were professional, but not measuring and knowing the parameters for the tank draws it down. I would probably consider using them again if I have issues with the water heater. I am not so sure I would for any other plumbing issues. I would try somebody else probably.

Robison plumbing installed a gas hot water heater about 8 years ago. Last year we had a broken hot water pipe under the house, and not knowing it; the water heater just kept running and running, causing so much condensation on the input pipe that it totally soaked the floor. They had the nerve to tell me that the reason they did not put a drip pan under the heater was "even tho it was code back then, the county didn't enforce it." Needless to say I fired them and had some else fix the floor and installed the new water heater.

Had a small drip at elbow under sink. Phone was answered promptly and courteously. Tech arrived within the allotted time. Gave me a written estimate for work. Estimate showed the cost and then a discounted cost. I don't understand the purpose of showing both costs. Cost is based on job, not an hourly rate. This is confusing because each job is difficult to compare. Cost included a service contract for an annual inspection of plumbing ($89) at the house. Happy with the work. Cost is very high.

They did a good job fast. I thought it was a little pricey. They arrived promptly, they were very friendly.

He was very accommodating by coming out for me so late at night. He came in with a very cheerful attitude that I appreciate because it was so late. He was really clear on explaining how and why he was doing everything that he did.

They were pricey, but they guarantee their work. They did a good job. I had to call them back once because there was a leak, they came right away and were very apologetic and professional.

The plumber was alert, courteous, professional, got straight to work, gave me detailed information on what had happened. Arrived within 45 minutes of my call.

Original (14yrs old) tank was leaking. Technician (Ryan) from Robison Plumbing in Bremerton, WA., arrived right on time for a 3:00pm appointment for what I thought would be an estimate and then we would schedule the replacement. Keep in mind, this is late afternoon Friday going into a weekend. No one including myself wants to start a job late on a Friday! Except for Ryan. Great and quot;can doand quot; attitude. Ryan diagnosed the problem (tank needed to be replaced), made a phone call to check if a replacement tank was locally available, took off to retrieve the new tank, came back, replaced tank, and was finished by 4:45pm. Very clean. Very professional. I now have hot water and don't have to worry if the tank is going to let go at any moment. Problem was solved all in the same day the call was made. Talk about response time! I will highly recommend this company to others. Thank you and Great work, Ryan.

They are a pretty fine company, they been around for a long time. The estimate was high it was 800 for one project and 600 for the other one. But they wasn't certified to do it. They were absolutely very professional very useful very consciences and giving a written estimate before he left I thought that was all very professional.

The Nick (plumber) was very friendly and when he came in showed us his badge and thoroughly explained our damage and when he did explain that the wall may have to come down. I asked if he could do a gradual cut and see if he could possibly work with a smaller cut first, if it was impossible and he could not work with the smaller opening then he could go ahead and take the wall down. He made the small cut and was able to fix it and compromise by adding a bit larger wall faucet chrome plate to cover the slightly larger hole. He made me very happy.

Very complete and professional service. Did exactly what they said for the estimate. pleased with the service.

I was satisfied with every aspect of the job except they did not get the main plumbing stack vertical. When I had checked mid-job, the stack was fine, but it appears that as they were connecting the horizontal run to the main line, the worker had cut the connecting pipe too short. He just pulled the pipe to fit which pulled the bottom of the vertical stack out of plumb by about 2 inches. This does not affect the function of the drains but looks sloppy. I was most disappointed that the supervisor did not catch this error and ensure a quality job. Unfortunately this was not noticed until after everything had been backfilled and covered up I would use them again but would monitor their work closely.

They offer a senior citizen discount and they also have a membership program; if you sign up for this you get discounted right away. They also will come out and check on things a couple of times yearly; so you save money that way since it is all part of the membership. One thing nice is that our technician came out on a weekend and did not charge any more than a regular weekday. A lot of places charge me more if I need them on a weekend.

There were a few issues but they were quickly resolved with friendly customer service.
