This is the worst company I have ever interacted with, period. I have NEVER had an experience like this. I am severely immune compromise so I asked the technician if he could please wear a mask, he said he would not, it goes against his Christian beliefs, yes, he really said that. I was stunned, I was always taught to care for others in the churches I was a member at, I was always taught to love my neighbor as I would Christ. it's pretty telling when someone's ego and ignorance tops any compassion for their fellow human. When I called the office to share my absolute dismay at something so simple they couldn't have cared less, instead he wanted to lecture me on how I was wrong and couldnt possibly know what was best for own health. I then asked if he knew what the second commandment was, you know the one that says to treat them rest of humanity as you would Christ....here's the tell...the guy on the phone, a self professed Christian could even tell me what the 2nd said. This company is a bunch of man babies that don't care about anything but their small petty egos. Shame on them, anti Christian and anti American. Why would you want people like this in your home FOR ANYTHING?

The person at there office was polite and clear about when the repairman would arrive and that he would call with a 1-2 hour window of when he would show up. He did call as promised and showed up exactly on time. It was obvious he knew what he was doing and did the work efficiently. He explained what he was doing and how he tested the oven to make sure it was working. When he put the stove top back together he tested each burner to make sure the were lighting correctly. One was not and he fixed that at the time. It had not worked for some time so I was glad he did that. I would highly recommend the company and the service tech
Description of Work: The oven on our Dacor dual fuel range quit working. I had one repairman out and he changed the master circuit board. The problem was not fixed so I called M & D and they came out, diagnosed the problem as being a touch pad membrane broken. They ordered the membrane and installed it about a month later due to a long wait time from Dacor to ship the part. I had read many negative reviews about M & D, but I was pleased with their service. Our Dacor was new in 2004 and cost $6000 new so I certainly did not want to get a new stove.

Is there a grade lower than F? F is too good for these guys. I have never, ever been treated so rudely by a company which is supposedly in the business of customer service. Our Whirlpool Duet washer broke over the weekend. My wife found these guys through the Whirlpool website, which listed them as an authorized service provider. She scheduled a service call online for Tuesday afternoon. Monday evening we received a call from their office confirming the appointment for Tuesday, but the woman calling could not specify if it would be morning or afternoon, but said the technician would call in the morning and let my wife know what time he would be arriving. Tuesday afternoon I received a call from my wife, who was very unhappy. She said she called them and asked when the technician would be arriving, and they said he had already been to our house, but nobody was there. She informed them that was categorically not the case. She had indeed been home all day, waiting for the technician. She had never left the house. The TV was off, the radio was off. She never heard heard the phone ring, never heard the doorbell. After talking to his office, she opened the front door, sure enough he had left a card on the door handle saying he was there at 1215, and we would need to call the office to reschedule. My wife then called the M&D office back. They said he had called, rung the doorbell, and nobody answered. My wife said he never called, and we could prove it by looking at the caller id and the call log on the Xfinity web site. They said well he must have dialed the wrong number, and it was too late to reschedule him for today, so they rescheduled for a week later. After my wife informed me of this, I called the M&D office. I said I was very unprofessional that the technician hadn't called prior to his arrival like they promised, hadn't rung the doorbell (we tested it, it works fine), and didn't call on the phone when he was standing on the porch and nobody came to the door. I said it was obvious he had not tried very hard to get anyone's attention. I said the fault was theirs, they had wasted a day of my wife's time when she had plenty of other things she needed to do, and M&D needed to get a technician back as soon as possible. I told them my wife was leaving town the next afternoon, and I have to go to work every day in Seattle, and I didn't want to have to wait a week when she was back home to get our washer repaired. At that point I could literally hear the phone being ripped from the hands of the person I was talking to, and the same woman who had confirmed the service call the evening before now told me they were canceling the service call scheduled for the next week, and we would have to contact Whirlpool to get another company to service our washing machine. Then she hung up. I called right back and asked why she hung up on me, and in a near-hysterical tone, she said I was being ridiculous. I said I didn't think it was ridiculous to expect a company to follow through on its promises, and she said the service guy who showed up at our house was the owner of the company. I replied that I own my own company, and when I make a mistake like that, it is my job to fix it. She then hung up on me. I called back yet again, expecting the call would go to voice mail, as a I wanted to leave a message for the owner and ask him to call me back, as I was getting nowhere with his staff. I wanted to warn him that I was shocked and angry at the degree of rudeness and disrespect his employee was displaying. I never got a chance to do that. As soon as the phone rang, the hysterical woman said, "Sir, this is now harassment. If you call again I a calling the police." I am not making this up. At no time in our conversation was I rude, impolite, or threatening. I simply said in very direct terms that the mistake was theirs for not trying calling on the phone as they said they would, or trying hard enough to get anyone's attention (ie ringing the doorbell or at least knocking hard enough to be heard.) before leaving. If I had anyone like this working for me, she would be fired the first time she treated any customer, or potential customer this way. I'd say the owner needs to know that he has a person representing his company who is driving business away and destroying his company's reputation. I hope for his sake he figures it out before its too late.
