I had a drain that was blocked, and I had already had a handyman check it to see if it was the trap, and it wasn’t. It was draining very slowly, so he came out with his little machine and set the thing down there and sent it out. He sent it 40 feet actually just to make sure, and when he was done it worked fine. I was not quite as satisfied with him. He did a lot of talking. He was a very personable fellow but he didn’t want to do the toilets. There was one that I thought was running a little bit slow and he sort of talked me out of it for some reason and I have no idea why. He got the drain running and he did go the extra step. I asked him to check the downspouts because I had had water leakage on the driveway and I was afraid that was the problem, and he did that. It was extra but it was included in the time of course. He was an older guy and actually kind of fun to listen to, and he was a good talker. I wished afterwards that I had insisted that he did try and bring that to the toilet drain. A lot of people use that company around here and a lot of people seem to be very content and happy with what that company does. I was just not really thrilled afterwards with this guy. He was very competent about what he did. It was just this one odd thing where he didn’t want to make the toilet. I think they have maybe five employees and they have more than one truck. As far as the things he did, it was excellent. He came on the day and didn’t put it off, and he came within the time limit. He was good and he did spend a lot of time talking to me, and it was interesting but really didn’t have anything to do with the job. I would use the provider in the future and I hope I wouldn’t get that particular guy.
Description of Work: I used them to clears a blocked drain. It was a complicated drain since it feeds two things and the dishwasher. He also checked the downspouts for me.

First, it should be noted that as a reviewer, I tend to be critical of construction and/or contractor work; if things don't seem right, I won't hire them. That being said.... I believe Drain Doctor is Fantastic! Mike Tamman and his team are the best; their work was thorough, accurate, experienced, and honest. The team he hires know how to work in delicate spaces, including the large construction equipment that any average operator would risk smashing the (VERY) nearby siding, plants, fences, or existing waterlines- but Mike's team did none of those, because they truly know what they are doing. Before the project even started, Mike took as much time as needed during the estimate to answer all of my 8 million questions, while also asking me about the potentially related factors to the new septic (new or old water lines, future driveways or buildings we might someday want, water use, crazy things I may or may not be putting in the septic (aka, too much chlorine bleach), and helped ensure the entire project had all facets covered- avoiding any surprises and ensuring that any other future projects could be done MUCH easier. The quality of the new tank and field is great; they are currently functioning perfectly, and please note: I am writing this review almost 2 years after installation; any issues with the tank or drain field would have come up by now (I hope) and so far, all's well. As for any criticism of their work... I seriously can't think of any. The price tag in the end was not a surprise (even though paying for a new septic still stings in the wallet). I'd recommend this crew any day. Hope this review helps others' search for a good septic company.
Description of Work: Installation and continued inspection of new septic tank, septic field, outdoor water spigots, conduit and water lines, and, of course, lots of grass seeding and watering after the septic project was completed
