Gaylene's attention to detail, great communication skills and always a prompt reply to my many questions made the total experience an easy one. Gary did a remarkable job measuring my windows - everything is fitting perfectly. Mike was pleasant and quick when installing the blinds. An A+++ experience.
Description of Work: Purchase and installation of Hunter Douglas blinds. I love their business model - a customer provides ballpark window measurements using their online format. Saves time and avoids a parade of vendors coming to your house. They were on target. Their prices are the best. I am a happy customer.

Description of Work: Window Wares has been providing our window treatments for over a decade. Most recently we had to replace some wood blinds that no longer fit our new windows. There were one or two "mars" on some of the new wood blinds. This has never happened before. Window Wares stepped in immediately to replace those blinds. They are easy to work with, competitively priced, and have expert installers. Their installer, Mike, even cut the wood valances to match our windows perfectly---a real skill that gives a very professional finish to the job. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: A Groupon-type promo led us to this firm. We were stunned to learn that we has to triple our out of pocket expense for only two windows in our new home. We were also told that our order wasn't big enough for them to come and measure the windows. The five-week delivery time has expanded to eight weeks now. Meanwhile, we found another company that measured all of our upstair windows and installed them in two weeks.

I was not educated on current window covering since I had always purchased homes with existing blinds except for the lace curtains I bought for my California home. So, when I walked into their store, Gaylene had to educate me on the styles and materials that Hunter Douglas offered. It was a revelation, and I sort of felt bad that I had so many questions for Gaylene, and took so long to figure out what to use. However, she knows her stuff and through our discussions was able to help me decide on a style and color for my family room, which I really am happy with. Six months later, I decided I needed to buy something for my dining area and kitchen window since I have my computer set up in the dining area which overlooks my neighbor's house. I wanted to have the option of having some privacy during winter months when I had the lights on in the kitchen/dining area. I ended up getting the two way cordless top down bottom up style which I just love because I can adjust for privacy yet get plenty of natural light at the same time. Well, a few months after I bought those two, I decided I should also go with the same style for my four bedroom windows. In every case, Gaylene and Gary where there to help, advise, and measure to make sure everything turned out just the way I wanted. The gentlemen they use for installation, Bill, was wonderful as well. I am just so pleased with the selections, materials, design, and colors, and so happy I went to experts for help, and with a manufacturer which stands behind its products.
Description of Work: I purchased all my window coverings from this company, consisting of kitchen, dining area, two windows in family room, sliding glass door in family room, and all four bedrooms.
