Tyler did a great home inspection which included a comprehensive detailed report. He was personal, professional, right on time. Provided additional home care tipsthat are very helpful The pictures in the detailed report was a nice addition of the visual findings! I would use again without hesitation!

We had little time remaining to complete a home inspection. Tyler agreed to come out the very next day and provide a full summary of the inspection a day after that. When I showed up, Tyler was already there (early... and waiting to get started). Tyler was very professional. He provided a high level verbal report before I left (I had another meeting to get to in a hurry). To my surprise, Tyler had the entire report to me only 8.5 hours after he started. I did not expect him to send it over the same day, but I appreciate the fact he is working his tail off. Great quality, great information and great attitude. I highly recommend Tyler and I have considerable experience buying and selling homes, so I am not new to working with inspectors.

I knew from the start that this would be a positive experience. First, Tyler made a last minute appointment to fit me in. He then arrived 30 minutes early for the appointment! He encouraged us to follow him around as he performed the inspection so we could ask questions and see any potential problems with our own 2 eyes. He was clear with his explanations, the report that was provided was clear and had plenty of pictures and arrived shortly after the inspection, and there was no feeling of being rushed at all during the inspection. I will definitely use Tyler again if (when) I buy another house. Good job Tyler!

Tyler provided an excellent report. It included a higher level summary, comprehensive detailed section about each area of the home. Included many critical photographs. I will definitely use him again.

Tyler was so responsive, starting with answering the phone on the Monday of Memorial day weekend. He made time in his scheudle to fit in a last minute appointment the very next day at 7 AM! When I arrived at 7 the next day, he was alreday there, ready to begin his work. During the inspection he was thourough, easy to talk to (which was important to me since my husband could not stay the whole time and I am a novice at home inspections and house buying!) and answered all of my questions, allowing me time to take notes and make sure that I understood all that he was telling me as well as filling me in on the follow up work that would be required. When he was done, we sat down with my realtor and the trhee of us reviewed the big things that we had seen and again, I was able to check for understanding. I would defintely recommend Tyler to anybody about to do an inspection or pre-inspection on a home becasue of his professionalism, attention to detail and friendly nature.

I really liked the service. The price was reasonable, the service was prompt and the response was awesome. The inspector was punctual, courteous and professional.

Tyler arrived on time and did the inspection in a thorough and professional way. After completing the inspection, he sat down with me to explain what he found, and answered any questions that I had. He said that he would email the inspection report within the next few days and it arrived as promised. The report provided the complete inspection results including pictures. Overall, Tyler did a great job and I am very happy with the results.

He was able to do the inspection with a couple days' notice, whereas other highly rated firms from Angie's List wanted to make an appointment a week or two in the future. He arrived early and got right to work as soon as my realtor and I arrived. He did a very thorough job of the inspection, and did a great job of differentiating must-fix items from trivial ones. His inspection report was delivered in a timely fashion (a couple days after the inspection) and was just as thorough as the inspection itself.

Tyler did a fantastic job! He was extremely thorough - pointing out issues he noticed as he went along. Tyler took the time he needed to really investigate every part of the house. He was there for three hours (ending at 5pm) and had his 46 page report in my email inbox by 10:30pm the same night! The issues he discovered were significant and while we are still negotiating with the seller, his information is vital to ensuring our new home will be in tip top shape rather than discovering surprises after we closed. Tyler arrived early... He started a very thorough inspection upon my arrival. Pointed out issues with the house... He answered all my questions... Provided me with a report by the end of the day via e-mail... Answered my questions via e-mail after I read the report. My e-mail questions were answered within 10 minutes of my asking them. Tyler is a well-qualified professional who arrived promptly and was open to having me shadow him through the inspection so I could ask questions and learn from it. Tyler did a fantastic job in inspecting the new home we are buying. He is very professional, friendly and detail-oriented. Although it was snowing on the day of inspection he showed up early and took the time to go through every part of the home in detail. As a first time home buyer we did not know much about the inspection. Tyler took the time explain each and every minor issue and gave some valuable tips on home maintenance. He was able to find even minor things that other home inspector would probably have overlooked. Best of all he was able to send us a detailed inspection report on the same day (on a weekend !!). My husband and I recently moved to Yakima and, after walking through over fifty houses in search for the right one, we finally found the one we wanted to buy. It was so helpful having Tyler inspect our potential home, but also really nerve-wracking. After looking through so many and finding problems on our own, it was scary knowing that he might find something that would be a deal-breaker, sending us back to the search. I was also wary of finding the right inspector to check the house- I had had bad experiences in the past. Tyler came highly recommended by a friend back in Seattle so I felt reassured in using his service. He was willing to travel over the pass to come inspect our house- we were thrilled with his flexibility and willingness to travel! Since it was an older home, he did find things wrong that are common of houses of its age. At first I was worried, but he put my mind at ease and explained the kind of electrical wiring and plumbing that were used when the house was built, their potential issues and risks involved. With a new baby on the way, it was really important to be sure that our house was safe. He gave us some great advice on ways to upgrade the house. He?s also a builder so I really appreciated all the tips he had. Tyler has the knowledge and presence of a seasoned inspector.

It was a very positive experience for me during a stressful time. Tyler was very punctual, greeting me with a smile and positive attitude. We started from the exterior and progressed to the interior. He went over every part of the exterior and pointed out things that I would have never thought of. He spoke very highly of particular work that was done to the home and also pointed out some problems that may occur in the future. He gave me some notes for things to keep my eyes on. Once inside he went into the crawl spaces and examined everything in great detail pointing out insulation depths and possible venting issues. There were things that met code, but he would advise me that if it were him then he would look into possibly changing it. Lots of important information that I never received from my last home inspector. Then he pointed out some very positive things that I had with this home and maintenance ideas for specific items. All in all he went head to toe, exterior to interior and made my home buying experience so much better than I had in the past. I was able to take care of a couple problems that I would have never known about if it wasn't for him. In my past experiences a typical home inspector would have never pointed out some of these issues nor took the time to answer specific questions I had and provide the help I wanted.

I hired Tyler of To the T Home Inspections to check a home I'm considering buying. He was worth every penny! Not only was he professional and flexible with my schedule, he was very thorough and explained everything he was doing. He gave me the option to follow him through the inspection or just wait for an overview. Since he also has a background in building, he knew about every aspect of the home and even had some fix-it tips! I felt like I received an education and was so glad that I tagged along (I didn't follow him into the attic or crawlspace). The deck was missing a safety bracket and there were even some little holes in the siding that he identified as termite damage. Tyler even alerted me of a water heater that was recalled for carbon monoxide poisoning! Tyler gave us a lot to think about and I feel like I have a very good picture of the good qualities (as well as some areas that need attention) so we can make an appropriate offer. I'd recommend him to anyone looking to buy a home and I will definitely use him again!
