The Maids

They've been cleaning our home for about 2 years. The service was inconsistent. They would frequently skip cleaning the shower in the master bathroom - this was evident because it was bone dry after they'd leave (we were not home when they'd come). Cleaning issues aside, about a year ago they left the front door to hour home unlocked on a Friday and we were gone for the weekend so our home was unsecured for 3 days. Two weeks ago, they left the back door of our home WIDE OPEN after they left. Both times when I called to complain, I got "Sorry, it's a training issue". I had to ask for some kind of service recovery ... They don't get it and seem clueless to the potential loss this could cause a homeowner. We no longer use this company and I'd think twice before giving them access to your home.

I believe this is the correct business, though I'm sure their are multiple crews. For my move-in clean, the house was overall in good shape but needed detailed work. I was disappointed with the work of this service and can't really recommend them. Biggest disappointment was dusting. They were prompt and courteous - scheduling was easy and they were responsive to my communications. A 3 person crew showed up instead of a 4 person as quoted. I had to ask them to go over several areas more than once (which they did) so this made me worry about what wouldn't have gotten done if I wasn't present to supervise. They also had limited uses for the "high duster". They told me there were several areas they couldn't reach (like the ceiling fan) because they couldn't stand on anything and they were short. Well the next day I went back over the house with a swiffer duster and never left the ground and found a lot of left over dust and some window sills that weren't even touched. They worked on areas that I asked for extra work on, but I had to point out so many redos that I eventually gave up - and as I said I had to go back behind them the next day. Kitchen and bathroom and floors were pretty good but I felt like they started fairly clean so it was touch to tell; I only know they girls spent a good deal of time there and what I had them redo in these areas was minimal. Luckily, they finished somewhat early(since I had cleaned some rooms myself prior to the arrival after hearing the high estimate) and I save but bit but I have to doubt the value of the service and I'm not sure I'd use them again or recommend. Wish it had gone better. Someone was supposed to contact me afterwords to provide info on regular service - which never happened; I do recall a generic message saying that they hoped I enjoyed the service. :-\

The first time they were very disorganized but they had a trainee with them. I had to remind them about a lot of things. They didn't even take out the garbage. The second time I asked for a different crew. They did a really good job and they tidy up whenever possible. They also cleaned the kitchen window and sliding glass doors. However, their rates are pretty high so if you have a larger family this might fit your situation better.

Terrible!!! I must have not got the same luck as the other reviewers because they did such a terrible job that I want to take this time to explain. This company promised that they would do a thorough job with their deep cleaning and that everything from top to bottom would be cleaned. I was excited to have it done. I take very good care of my house I am very detailed and was looking for a company that would step in to help and by the reviews I chose this company. Keep in mind my house is newer and in very good shape and very clean I do not have a lot of clutter, knick knacks, I receive compliments from everyone of the cleanliness of my home including cleaning companies who came out for walk through for pricing. 4 ladies came in everything seemed just fine they put booties on their shoes and were friendly I explained that I find it very important that my doors and mill work and baseboards need to be wiped as I was told over the phone they would be. While I was about to leave all the ladies got straight to work and started cleaning. Long story short...I came back exactly 2 hours later which is 8 hours of work with 4 ladies and they barely had anything done!! The same lady that started wiping down my cabinets was still wiping my cabinets 2 hours later and the rest of kitchen was still incomplete...what in the world were they doing while I was gone!?!? I left for another 30 to 45 minutes and came back and they were gone!! I was shocked because they haven't even finshed the first half in 2 hours but all of a sudden after manager shows up they were capable of getting rest done that quickly? that seemed sketchy to me!! The manager came in to take a look and I explained to her that I was very unhappy and that they didn't do a deep cleaning I also explained to her my concerns of them being here for 2 hours and doing hardly anything. The manager still had the nerve to try to collect $372.00 for services that were not completed which was actually $12. more than the quote AND she quoted me double for biweekly than any company or individual cleaner ever quoted me...Seriously!! She also tried to make excuses for why my doors and mill work were not cleaned saying that the smudges wouldn't wipe off but after she left I took a damp rag and cleaned all my doors and they were clean after I was done. I also re mopped and re vacuumed and cleaned all the smudges off my kitchen cabinets. My vacuum sucked up a lot of stuff including an area rug in my hallway that was not done or poorly done. When I was vacuuming you can hear stuff coming up! I also took pictures of their lousy work but I don't think you can upload on Angies list They also took a big chip out of my baseboard and left the wood chips laying on carpet. I also took a pic of this List of thing incomplete Baseboards doors mill work 3 full trash cans trash was left on my counter top which tells me they were not wiped there was also food smudges on counter tops kitchen floor still has food smudges kitchen sink was not wiped They left giant smears all over kitchen cabinets The vacuum job was the worst I have ever seen by a professional ever it looked like I asked my 12 year old to vacuum my ceiling fan was not dusted my sons chair was not vacuumed it had dog hair still on it Deep cleaning of bathtub and showers looks as if my bathroom cabinets were not wiped properly my bathtub still has soap smudges I feel sorry for people who work a lot and have no time to inspect the quality of work of this companies cleaning and waste their money think they are receiving services that they are not and are taken advantage of by this company

My cleaning team consisted of three ladies. Appointment was set for between 2PM-3PM. They arrived late and explained that they were short one cleaner and it set them back time wise as there were cleanings prior to mine. I can appreciate that things such as this can happen and still graded a B for punctuality because I did receive a phone call advising they were running a bit behind. The team took a few moments to walk through the house and discuss what I wanted done (a whole house deep clean) then set to work. They were efficient, worked hard and were meticulous in their cleaning! I've been using a housekeeper once a week for two years and know what I can and can't expect from a cleaner and these girls have, so far, exceeded my expectations. I have many shelves in my closet with lots of shoes on them, the shoes were removed and the shelves dusted (not an easy, nor pleasant task). All the blinds were meticulously dusted, carpets vacuumed well, bathrooms and kitchen spotless. All of my wood furniture was polished and looked great! My wood and tile flooring was vacuumed then cleaned BY HAND and look great! I am a clean freak and my expectations are probably higher than average, so saying that they've exceeded my expectations is impressive. Midway through a territory supervisor showed up to check on the cleaning team and to go through the house and discuss future cleanings, concerns etc...and to give me a cost quote, which was broken down into once per month, every other week and weekly. After the team was finished the team lead walked through the house with me to go over what was done and to make sure everything was completed to my satisfaction. I have a 4050 square foot home and four indoor dogs, the price that I was quoted for weekly cleanings was well within the normal range for this type of cleaning service. In fact, I paid my last housekeeper only $44 less and she was just one person that didn't do anywhere near as a good a job. I was pleasantly surprised with the quote and have signed up to have The Maids come back once per week! Overall I was impressed with the team, the supervisor, the cleaning and the price!

We have used The Maids for several years for cleanings twice each month. The teams arrive on time, are professional, and the get the job done quickly. One the rare occasion they missed something they are more than willing to make things right.

This was the first time I have had a maid service come into my home. I loved the way my home felt and looked when they finished! The best part (and highest recommendation I can give) is that they cleaned the way I do. I have been unwell and therefore unable to clean my home the way I wanted. The team from The Maids came in and went straight to work. I am so pleased with the results and will be using them again in the future.

They are always on time within the time frame they give. We are quite happy. They are efficient and good at their work. The price is good for the effort and hours put into cleaning.

I hired them for a one time cleaning of my house that is 4400'. The first clean was very thorough. We signed up for weekly service after the first service. They have a great cleaning system and I am a perfectionist. The cleaning was amazing. Every time they come we are so excited!

I'm happy with the service. The leader of the crew is very conscientious and they all are trying to do a good job. I've used them three months.

We had The Maids clean our previous home every other week, and were very happy with their work. They always arrived per the schedule, did a thorough clean and left our home in great shape. It's no longer in our budget to have The Maids on a regular basis, but we have used them for a full pre-sale clean as well as a one time clean in our new home. As always, they are efficient and meticulous. The team arrives with all of their own cleaning equipment and has excellent processes in place to make sure the house sparkles. The office staff is also easy to work with and flexible. I would highly recommend this business!

A team of 4 arrived right on time for a deep clean of my house. I have regularly used other housecleaners but this time wanted a more comprehensive deep clean. I was made aware of the cost in advance - $350 (normally $380) - for 2.15 hours of cleaning with a team of 4, so I was prepared. All the cleaners were very professional and very detailed in their cleaning. They cleaned my hardwood floors on their hands and knees, which I appreciated because my regular cleaners just use a Swiffer. The team leader had me walk through at the end to be sure everything was done to my satisfaction - and it was! So everything was absolutely wonderful about The Maids except the cost. I enjoy my thoroughly clean house - and they get an "A" for cleaning - but I won't be able to use them again solely because the expense is too much for me. Regularly scheduled cleanings would be less expensive, but still would be about $60 more than my regular cleaner charges. Bottom line: If you are able to afford it, this cleaning company is really good, especially for a one-time deep cleaning!

The cost above is per visit. We like having them and the kids cannot wait to see them, they are very sweet to work with. They are great. They are very personable as well.

We used them regularly and they did a really good job. They would bring as many people as they needed to get the work done in about two hours each time. They brought three people to do the service. They did not break anything and they were thorough. The services were paid for through BizX.

We have used them for around six or seven years. We usually have some of the same people come on the visits. The quality of the service is good.

They cleaned my house very well! I use the once a week and Im a busy mom with three kids, would not know what to do without them!

The team did a great job. It was amazing how new my carpets look! Also they sold me on my driveway for pressure washing, only 75 dollars extra!

It was really good. It was just a good overall experience. They did a great job. The estimate of the time was within 15 minutes of what they gave me over the phone so it was close to the estimated time that they quoted me.

To prepare my old house to go on the market, The Maids cleaned the restrooms, kitchen, mopped all the floors, and washed the interior windows. Two day response. Brought in a team of four maids. Did the work in just over two hours. I'd use them again.

The Maids have been cleaning our house every two weeks for a few months now. They are prompt and courteous, and I'm pleased with the results. On occasion something is forgotten (maybe a sink drain still has a ring, or a single counter isn't wiped), but these are easily outweighed by the cleanliness of the shower and floors, vacuuming under couch cushions and other things that we really appreciate. We haven't hired house cleaners before, and this experience has been a positive one.

They were responsive to the initial inquiry and showed up on time. I didn't find anything that they missed and they even opened up the floor vents and vaccumed a few that I asked. I don't normally hire out maid service but the level of clean was as expected.

They arrived quite late. We called the agency and they said they had it scheduled at a different time than we had. However, when they arrived, they apologized for being so late. So, I think we had it right and the agency tried to make it look like our mistake. Regardless of the timing, they did an excellent job. Everything was clean from top to bottom! I would definitely hire them again.

They were extremely responsive. I was able to get an appointment right away and then they followed up with me shortly after and sent me a coupon for future services. They didn't get some of the things that I would've cleaned, but I didn't have them to do it in the very beginning and that was a shortcoming on my part and not theirs.

They were very good about communicating time of arrival and going over the list of tasks. They were very punctual. Everyone was polite, and a manager followed up several times during the work to ensure that all areas were completed to our satisfaction. They were able to remove shower stains and build-up that had resisted our own treatments for years. The entire house looked fabulous.
