Description of Work: We had a problem with condensation freezing outside the house he redid it for us and put a backup valve, where it wouldn't shut the system down anymore. If the run off line freezes the furnace would shut down. He put a valve on it so the furnace would not shut down

Description of Work: Dan came out to my house because my furnace was not producing heat. He came to do a diagnostic on my furnace and needed to replace my motherboard. He called the manufacturer and found that we still had a warranty on the motherboard. He's installing the motherboard this Friday but got my furnace working temporary for the holiday! :)

Description of Work: I used Teeter's Service Inc about a month and a half ago. He put in a part on the heater that was still under warranty so I didn't pay anything to him.

Description of Work: I had a new furnace installed about 4 years ago. It was not a good experience. About two weeks ago the furnace blower would stay on and I would have to turn off the furnace at the breaker. I also could not control the furnace at the thermostat. Then thermostat was about 12 years old. I called Teeters Service based on the recommendations on Angies List that I had just joined days before. I called and spoke to Dan, the owner, and described the above problems. Appointment was set and Dan even arrived early. He did a diagnostic test on the furnace and replaced a sequencer, replaced the thermostat with a high end model that I had and programmed it for me. He then sealed the furnace properly so that there was air escaping and then the furnace blower and new thermostat. All worked great and my wife and I are very happy with the outcome. There is an obvious difference in how the furnace works.

Description of Work: I woke up to discover that my electric furnace was running and would not turn off. I turned the thermostat to off and the furnace continued to run. I actually pulled the thermostat off the wall and the furnace continued to run. I ended up turning the furnace off at the breaker box. I found Mr. Teeter on the Seattle list. He had all A ratings, and was fairly close to my home. I called at 8:30 am. By 12:00 noon, he had my furnace working. He replaced the sequencer and examined the heating element. The element needs to be replaced in the near future. He installed a new filter and also checked out my thermostat and reprogramed it for me.

Description of Work: Heating wasn't functioning. The unit would cycle on and heat for 5 minutes then shut down. He came and discovered there was a witre loose on the "exciter" replaced the wire and all was well. His manner was friendly and very professional. He just charged me the minimum service call and was on his way.

Description of Work: My furnace quit working on new years day. The inducer was frozen and the igniter was nearing the end of its life. Mr. Teeter replaced both. Upon further inspection he found both heat exchangers with cracks and that they would need replacing before too long. I will have Mr. Teeter replace them in the near future.

Description of Work: Our furnace went out and it turned out to be the ignitor switch went bad. They replaced immediately and we had heat within 15 minutes.

Description of Work: Mr. Teeter removed my old furnace and installed a new 97.5% efficient gas furnace.

Description of Work: The blower motor went out on our furnace on a very cold Sunday. Dan was contacted through our home warranty service and was at our house within an hour(amazing on a Sunday morning). Dan diagnosed the issue as a failed blower motor and replaced the unit and got our furnace back up and running.

Description of Work: Something was wrong with my air conditioner. I am not sure exactly what the problem was or what he had to do to fix it. It just was not working as it should have been.

Description of Work: Installed a new air conditioning system that plugged into our existing heating system.
