The guys were very professional, quick, and great overall. They responded right away, got out quickly, and did a great job. The only downside was the price - way more expensive than other options, however, I didn't have the luxury of time for this repair.

Jeff and his helper, Arturo came out and did all the work in less than half a day. The hose bib installs required working in our crawl space. My husband went down into the crawl space later to take a look and said the job was done perfectly, no leaks, and the pipes were nicely covered with insulation. No leaks under the bathroom sink faucet either. Circulating pump works just like it's supposed to. We will definitely hire Jeff for all our future plumbing work.

Although the work was done quickly and I think Jeff is basically a nice guy and professional, I experienced flooding where I never had it before over the area that was worked on and have called 5+ times leaving messages to ask him to please come check it out over several weeks. I paid a lot of money for this and was even told to call if problems so it’s unfortunate that once the money was paid, no response. The price seemed high too. I would recommend checking everything before paying total. Of course I’m my case I didn’t know about flooding until it rained. This is still unresolved.

Spoke with Jeff and he scheduled us for the next day. On the date of the appointment, he called to ask if they could come by a couple hours early, which worked out fine. He was punctual and provided good communication on the plumbing issues we had. The failed PRV was in a low crawl space and not easily accessed. Jeff checked our hot water tank and found the expansion tank had also failed, likely due to the high water pressure. I considered - but elected not to install - an inside water shutoff, in lieu of going to the box/meter by the street. Jeff provided some advice on this and helped me locate another outside shutoff in the back of our home near the foundation that I was unaware of (even though we have lived here 24 years).

They came out immediately and told me the options I had. Once I made the decision for them to do the work they found the leak, fixed it, and left the yard exactly the way they found it! When my husband got home and looked at the work site he was amazed since they had to move a lot of dirt and bricks to get to the leak. I don't know if the price was fair or not because I couldn't get another company to agree to come out as quickly as they did.

Thanks to Jeff Norris from Sound Plumbing, I'm moving forward with my close of escrow and will not only satisfy my inspection obligations, but I'll be on budget and on schedule. Most contractors would take advantage of sellers like myself who are on a tight deadline and from out of state, but not Jeff. That's just one of the reasons why Jeff and Sound Plumbing deserve MORE than a five star rating. Jeff gets high marks from me for his responsiveness, knowledge and expertise AND for providing a fair price and assessment of my issue with water in my crawl space. Jeff performed a thorough assessment of my crawl space and identified that the problem was not related to a drainage issue which would have cost me THOUSANDS of dollars. Rather, he found the problem was just a faulty seal on a new toilet that had just been installed and was an easy fix. So would I recommend Jeff Norris and Sound Plumbing & Heating? Absolutely. Without hesitation.

I have hired Sound Plumbing and Heating on a couple of occassions over the past two to three years. Every time, Jeff, the owner, has done a great job and I will continue to use him in the future. He is a licensed plumber, which is suprsingly rare. He is always on time and is really great about explaining the work that needs to be done. He has repaired a water leak, replaced a kitchen sink, repaired a hot water heater, and re-configured plumbing pipes for me. I give Jeff my highest possible recommendation.

The owner of the company named Chuck Norris would come out and do a full inspection to access the water pipe as well as to look for other issues whenever I tell him that there is a job to be done. He identifies and works up an estimate based on his findings and gets back to the owner of the property with it after which he usually starts his works in the next few days depending on how urgent the matter is. He typically will come out and do his own assessments. He is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He is a true master plumber and I have never had any problem with any of the work he has done since he has always been top notch. If there are things which do not have to be done right away but only in the future he will let me know. He will always give me his opinion as well as estimate so that I can see what can be done now and what can be done later. He is very honest and I can trust him. He has always been punctual by showing up on time and doing what needs to be done.
