Royal solarium lied that they have been building sunroom/rooms for years. At first step we realized that they do not have license which was required for permit. On June 1 2015 when work started I realized they did not have license to apply for permit. They took license later on June 2015. Owner Larry was not well and probably have no interest. He gave it to Bob. Bob has no experience. He just bully for money. After Royal solarium sign contract/dig foundation - Bob have pressurized , bully us to make payments that were not due. All payment were supposed to be given to Royal Solarium. He made us write checks on different name - Johngy, vendors. Every time pressure was that he will delay house. Bob forced us to pay 6000 to his vendor. The vendor never delivered anything. Since last 4 month we are following to get this money back. Once work start and house become construction zone, Bob makes illegal demand - book hotel for him, pay for his website, refer to your friend. Bob was supposed to get local worker for work. He sent his step son who come from Bremerton (3-4 hr drive one way). Work was not done on time. Deliberately delay project to extract more money. He was just wasting time and delaying work. Many time came for 5 min. Went back to buy goods. Put goods and went back etc. Reduced project scope - example 8 windows to 6 windows. but did not reduce amount. Did not close the old window which was in drawing. Took away old windows from our house to their home without our permission. when I objected it was brought back. On Oct 7 - throw all the stones, mud and spoil the garden. (as shown in photo). It will cost lot of money to fix it. Bob does not know anything. His own role is to extract money and keep fighting for it. Johngy (Step son) asked me to fire Bob as he is not doing anything. Johngy wanted all money should be paid to him. Bob asked me to fire Larry (owner of Royal solarium) so that he can keep money and he need not have to share with Larry. There was no interest to complete work. This is first time they are working. At end room was complete. But they dumped all mud, stones into our garden and made a mess. My contract was 35000. I have paid 38000. Some work was left. Oct 7 was last time we met. I sent closure statement to them Without my knowledge Bob/Johngy started another company and now sent me another 12000 invoice from other company name on 10/30. Bob is making threats that as per rule -- he can lean against property (misusing law that sub contractor can do even in primary contractor is paid. I have never hired his new company. All money was anyway given to Bob/Johngy). I talked to Royal solarium owner today. He had no clue what is going on. The Bob started illegal method - he is saying he will talk to my employer and make scene there. He does not do anything- he just pressurize people to pay more. THESE GUYS HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO DO. THEY WANT TO ENTER INTO PEOPLE HOUSE. Once they are in and house work start- THEY MISUSE SITUATION.
Description of Work: Built a room addition. Signed contract on May 30 2015. Project was delayed. Last contact on Oct 7 2015. Paid 38000 to check credit card. Now a new company is demanding another 12000.

1. The $10,000 rebate offer was withdrawn during the construction, however Royal Solarium (RS) did not inform us of this change. We did not find out the offer was withdrawn until I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. In other words, they used the rebate as bate for us to use their company, then removed the rebate offer without informing us. 2. Royal Solarium (RS) did apply for the building permit, using a contractor's license that had nothing to do with our project. But he did not follow through on providing the information that was needed to actually get the permit. We were told the permit was issued by both Larry and the contractor several times during the construction and were lied to consistently. This resulted in the customer having to pay $720 for the engineer to come out after the room was completed to complete an "AS BUILT" report. An additional $250 had to be paid to the County called an investigative fee also by us. (L&I has fined RS $1,000 for illegal use of a contractor license.) 3. An error was made on measuring so the supports did not line up with the footings. When RS was called regarding this, their only concern was to collect the final amount on their contract, We asked them to at least come out to see what we are complaining about. Their response was to shut down the project when half complete if I did not give them their final check immediately. At this point we had an open roof, the contractor left on a 2 week vacation, and we were left to deal with rain in our home. The only thing to hold the rain out was a tarp which was not sufficient. 4. Royal Solarium shorted Precision Panel by $3,000. I had called Larry early in the project to discuss the contractor stating that he needed an additional $3,000 due to an increase in building materials. Larry confirmed that we should pay the contractor this money, so we signed a new contract with the contractor to include an extra $3,000. When Larry collected his final check he said we owed him an additional $3,000 as well which would be given to Precision Panel. I reminded him that he had stated earlier that the contractor was to get the $3,000. He told me they both were to get this additional money and beside the contractor did not build the supports, instead Precision Panel did so the money goes to Precision Panel. We had a contract with the contractor that included the $3,000 so told Larry he would have to get the additional money from the contractor because we cannot break our contract with the contractor. We were not going to pay for the additional building materials twice. To date, Larry has not paid Precision Panels for the additional materials. He told Precision Panel, they would just add an additional $3,000 onto the next customer's contract. 5. The contractor, that was vouched for by Royal Solarium was not licensed. Meaning if he had fallen off our roof, or something unforeseen had happened, we would have been held responsible.
Description of Work: Royal Solarium sold us a package deal for a room addition. We signed a deal with them that included two contracts. One contract was with Royal Solarium which was to include the floor, walls, and roof panels that were built specifically for our property by Precision Panels, Tacoma. Royal Solarium agreed to get the building permit for the project. The other contract was an estimate of the cost of the contractor that was to construct the room, and complete the finishing work. Royal Solarium also offered us $10,000 rebate, which entailed the customer followed to through on the steps that had to be followed in order for the rebate issued. We had to contact Royal Solarium many times during the process as the contractor they sent out to put the room together was not dependable. The first three weeks he was out only one day per week, and randomly after that. When he did come, he arrived at noon, went to our picnic table to eat lunch, then proceeded to do some work. We questioned Larry regarding his ability to do the job, whether he was a licensed contractor, etc. We were told that he was qualified and licensed. We also had to contact them to confirm what the two crews told us as the project being constructed. We also confirmed with Larry that we were to pay the contractor and Royal Solarium would pay Precision Panels from the money paid to Royal Solarium, which he told us yes. Royal Solarium was paid a total of $24,688.89. Their expenses of the project were the cost of three windows estimated at $100 each, plus the engineer drawings at a cost of $1,200 and Precision Panels which they paid $10,000. So their estimated costs included $11,500. Royal Solarium's net income from this project was $13,188.89. What did they do to earn this money---Collected the money!!
