Looking for a High-End Painting Contractor in Bothell, Washington Stop looking… hire Daren with Pullen Painting. We closed on a ranch style home for my mother-in-law mid-October. By mid-December, our remodeling project was completed. We had an excellent team of skilled contractors that made time for our project. Daren, with Pullen Painting, was just one of the skilled contractors we chose to work on our project. Our newly purchased home (built in the 1960’s) needed a full remodel. We chose to demo and remove all brown doors, brown trim, brown paneling, acoustical tile, old electrical outlets, 1960s kitchen and cellar. Daren, owner of Pullen Painting, stopped by to bid our project in middle of our demo. At the time, we asked Daren to paint all ceilings, walls, and doors. Our bids for a general contractor came in too high so we took on the challenge of being our own General Contractor. I think that Daren saw the big picture before we did. I remember him saying “I can help out with all the extra details.” AND Daren did just that. Daren’s detailed work experience and past recommendations speak volumes. He didn’t just paint the walls…he brought new life to the worn ceiling and walls. He even took the time to teach us a few tips along the way. THE main reason that I am writing a positive recommendation for Daren (and his company) is for his strength of character. He is such a positive, energetic, kindhearted person. He treated my mother-in-law with the utmost respect. He is just a GOOD GUY.

Darren Pullen is in that rare breed of professionals who not only cares about doing the job right, but also gets completely absorbed in the work. He will paint your house like he owns it! If all you are looking for is a quick, cheap, superficial paint job, he is not the one to call.

We wanted a first class job and that is what we got. Daren (owner) was easy to work with and pays attention to details. He knows what he is doing. The price was higher than some contractors but we wanted the job done right and there was no question in our minds that we chose the right company. Our house faces south and had some serious wear and tear - all taken care of. It looks like new and we would definitely use Pullen's Painting again.

He finished some things outside too and we had some wood replaced outside that he painted. Everything was great.

Pullen's bid was higher, but I chose him because of the good work he had done on four of my neighbors homes. His work is superior and he used superior paint and materials. In the end I think he gives you the best value. He sometimes put three to four coats of paint on sections. He even installed new lights. I highly recommend him.

Fantastic and thorough job. Darren Pullen treats your house as if it were his own. The level of painting is extremely high and his is very detail oriented. Amazing job!

In his initial visit to quote on the job, he took great care to explain how he would handle the every aspect of this job. He was great to work with, meticulous with details and even offered advice on other minor painting projects we had going. He stayed late in order to finish earlier than the timeframe he had quoted so that the floor refinisher could start his job. He also brought us plums from his yard! All-in-all, we were very pleased with the quality of the work and are hoping he will be available to paint the outside of our home.

We have used Darren Pullen over the years for ALL of our painting needs and knew the job would also be completed very professionally as he treats your home as if it was his own. Came very prepared with all his supplies (not having to leave the job) and finished the job on time. Very thorough with everything and even taped off skylights to make sure they didn't leak as this was a big concern of mine. (No Leaks!) Darren has a great personality and always comes with a positive attitude and bottom line just wants the job to be completed to your satisfaction. This is why we have him take care of our home.

Fabulous! I can't say enough good things about Daren and Pullen's Painting. He has a sharp eye for detail and maintains very high standards of quality and excellence in his work. We couldn't be happier with the results in the rooms Daren painted. We also appreciated that his work areas were clean, neat and uncluttered. His team cleaned up quickly and put everything back where it was when they started, and were also very friendly. I would recommend Daren and Pullen's Painting for any paint job and especially for those high-profile rooms that require strong, straight lines and attention to detail. I am confident he'd be up for most any challenge you could throw at him and he will do an amazing job for you.
