Precision Floor Crafters

Owner is Mike - Professional and a nice guy. Took care of re-do issue and a credit for errors. Unfortunately, he uses sub-contractors to perform all his jobs. He pays them to complete a job. The "subs" work is sloppy and rushed. Unless Mike changes business model I won't use him again.

Adrian came out and seemed very helpful and accommodating. Was eager to do the stairs and provided me with a lot of help. Unfortunately he was not available to do the Job in our desired time frame and offered a 10% discount if we waited till he was available. We agreed because he seemed very professional and we had read his reviewed on Angies list. I tried contacting him several times the week before the scheduled time with no response. He never showed up to do the job. We are now in the process of getting another stair/ floor contractor that has worked for our neighbors and has proved reliable. Never expected this unprofessional behavior. Quite frankly, I have never given a poor review or contacted the BBB, but I felt I needed to make others aware.

Adrian and the others helped with the shipping of the flooring product and underlayment (I could not find what I wanted in Seattle). They helped with the final details without going over the original estimate. The place looks great! Highly recommended. Very honest and straightforward folks.

We had a questionable situation with our hardwood floors and weren't sure what the condition would be once we pulled up all of the carpet. There was a layer of white paint (one contractor was convinced it was Kilz) around the perimeter that was evident when pulling up any carpet edges. We had a total of four companies come out to take a look and give estimates, and Adrian was the only one who came in and did not just stand there and scratch his head unsure of what the white paint could be, or tell us that our floors were a lost cause and push us to new floors throughout. He was by far the most thorough of them all, taking the time to dig a little deeper into what we could see, come up with theories on what could have happened based on what we knew about our home, and take the time to answer all of my questions and talk through options. Adrian was also the only one out of the four companies to show me examples of his company's previous work, which included an example of what we thought we would encounter on our floors. I felt totally confident in Adrian and his team's ability to deal with any unexpected surprises that I thought might pop up with our floor and to be accessible and communicative throughout the process. We scheduled the job during a week-long vacation and Adrian would send updates and pictures of the progress throughout the week, which I really appreciated. The floors turned out beautifully and we could not be happier! Adrian even came out two mornings following the completion of the job to fine-tune some nit-picky things. I am so happy we chose Precision Floor Crafters and would use them again in a heartbeat if we needed it.

Adrian provided everything he promised and allowed me to ask lots of questions about advice for what type of bamboo flooring to get based on my floor conditions, types of molding, etc. I had a few other estimates that were less expensive but I didn't feel like they were going to provide as much assistance as I might want as first time installer of new flooring. Overall Adrian and his staff provided a good service and I am happy with the results. I would recommend their service.

We recieved bids from 4 different harwood installers. Even though Precision Floor Crafters was not the lowest or highest bid, it was the most thorough. He was not able to start the job for about a month after we accepted the bid, but we were not in a time crunch so it was fine. He started when he said and was finished when he promised. He also guarantees his work for one year, through all four seasons. He also came back and happily put on an extra coat when we requested it. We are very happy with the work they did and would definatly have them do more work in our home if we ever needed it.
