Nothing, that's was the problem.
Description of Work: Sent 2 on-line bid requests. Called one week after each submission. Each time the receptionist said they had a computer glitch. Asked to leave a msg to anyone that could give us a bid. Called a week later after no one called. Was told the guy they left the msg with had been out in the field all week. One week later he called us. We declined any offer of work from them.

5/6/2015 • Northshore Paving Inc. takes pride in our great customer service, however the communication outlined above in your review is not correct. The first time you called our office was on March 30, 2015 at 7:36 am you spoke with our office staff about getting an estimate and stated that stated you sent two requests in via our website over the course of a few weeks. At that time we stated our website was having issues apologized for any inconvenience this may have caused you and let you know we were diligently working on getting the issue fixed. Our estimator received you message and returned your call the same day (March 30, 2015) at 10:17 am that went to voicemail and a message was left. Our estimator called for a second time on March 31, 2015 at 9:25 am that call also went to voicemail where a message was left. Then our estimator made a third call on April 1, 2015 at 2:12 pm, this call was also not answered so our estimator left a third voicemail. On April 2, 2015 you called back after hours and a message was taken with your information. Your message was received by same estimator the next morning April 3, 2015 at 6:58 am. The estimator called for a fourth time at 7:00 am and spoke with your husband. Your husband stated - he would tell her you called and if she still wanted a bid she will call you back. This was the last communication between us, and as your husband stated you would call us if you wanted a bid and we never heard from you again.

Northshore was prompt with their estimate, even coming out twice to give us options on the work. They were excellent to work with, explaining pro's and con's for each option we requested. Once the work was scheduled, Northshore's crew was easy to work with, arriving on time on the days they were scheduled to do the work and flexible about moving their equipment to allow access during the day. The final bill was just as they estimated, even though they added additional roadbed to help even out the drive. A great team to work with!
Description of Work: Northshore excavated and repaired multiple portions of a shared private roadway, then paved the entire drive with asphalt. They cut out and removed broken asphalt and tree roots, then added rock back into the excavated portions of the driveway. They also added 18" of crushed rock on a portion of the shoulder, helping to maintain the edge of the road from extra wear. Finally, they paved the entire roadway with 2" of asphalt, feathering into existing driveways and the main road.
