Description of Work: I cannot say enough about Dennis Monicatti and his crew. We have been slowly remodeling a house over 10 years with a few different contractors with some of the same issues other have mentioned (i.e., not arriving on time or at all, work changes, bait and switch estimates, not completing the entire job, etc). Dennis was a breath of fresh air. He was referred to me by my neighbor, an architect, who has been using Dennis for years and actually had him do the work on his house! We hired Monicatti for a complete kichen remodel (wall down, custom cabinets, quartz countertops, etc). Dennis was on time every day with his sidekick Lauren and the work is really outstanding. They gave a detailed bid which included issues they thought might be a problem and they were pretty much spot on. Unfortunately, every potential issue became a real issue when drywall or floors were removed, but he kept us up to date. Dennis and Lauren were happy for suggestions but were equally happy to provide guidance when we could not decide. The subs were fantastic and did quality work. The crew cleaned up every day so we were not treading on sawdust and debris in the workspace and outside. They were able to find ways to get all that we wanted within the budget and although they had to spend more time than they thought (due to all of the unforeseeable problems with a 1942 house), the budget was spot on. He is not the cheapest, but is worth ever cent. Thank you Dennis and Lauren for a beautiful job that will last for so many years.

Description of Work: NEW UPSTAIRS BATHROOM ADDED TO 1921 SEATTLE HOME, REQUIRING STRUCTURAL AND DESIGN INTEGRATION OF NEW WITH OLD. INCLUDED PLACEMENT OF NEW CONCRETE FOOTINGS IN BASEMENT SUPPORTING NEW POSTS FROM UPSTAIRS. MONICATTI MANAGED ENTIRE PROJECT FROM BEGINNING TO COMPLETION WITH AN OUTSTANDING RESULT.
