Description of Work: KMB Northwest, gee, I'm pretty sure that this was the hardwood floor company that we used to repair / replace our hardwood (oak) kitchen floor. We had had a flood in our kitchen and portions of the existing floor got ruined. KMB did an excellent job and we are very satisfied. They were able to match the stain for the trim surrounds for a new sliding glass door in the kitchen as well.

 + -1 moreMike was a pleasure to work with as we looked to make major updates in our basement. From the beginning he was super detailed and responsive in giving us a quote and timeline, and then let us know early on if certain projects were going past their due date and why. He was very creative in coming up solutions, and when we had vague notions of what we wanted done, he'd listen and propose a couple of ideas that were always spot on. He also went out of his way to fix some small issues without nickel and diming us, and I thought his price quotes were all very fair and competitive to some of the quotes given by other general contractors. He also pretty much met the proposed timeline and original price quote, although some of it was delayed due to the extras we wanted him to tackle in the middle of the project. We made a lot of updates in our basement, and our friends and family rave about how great it looks. We would definitely use Mike again for future projects.
Description of Work: Mike installed a shower in the basement bathroom, installed baseboards, replaced basement carpet, installed track lighting, setup projector/entertainment center, fixed issues with sprinkler system, fixed basketball court lighting, painted parts of the basement, took out some storage areas and replaced them with drywall, fixed a crooked heating duct.
