They were friendly, but I felt the job was incomplete. I had to top dress the lawn and seed it.

Mark was great to talk to. I could have been more specific about a particular project to tackle. By over-generalizing, there wasn't an opportunity for him to target a specific area. I enjoyed our discussion and his philosophy, and now have a list of recommended plants to research further.

It went great. We had some trouble initially getting a date when we would be available to meet with him, but he was very willing to work with us within his schedule.

Each young man that has come has been so polite. They have also spent extra time with me talking to me about other things in my garden other than the things that they are actually working on. They are always prompt. They are very concerned about being quiet because the machine makes some noise. So, they would not start until a certain time because they do not want to disturb other people in the neighborhood. They are just very professional about everything. The people that you speak to in the office are excellent and very helpful. It just seems to be a very fine company.

Great job by the company--they did the job and did it well.

They did what they said they would do even though we kept adding things on. We had a toddler, so we asked them to add a fence in the front behind a 2 ft. retaining wall. They have been working on bringing a struggling fruit tree back to health at our request. They really have a friendly staff and they are professional and well educated. I would suggest using them as I have worked with the owners before they started "In Harmony". Honest, educated and caring individuals. I am a horticulturist myself, but I really love the treatments that they do to our landscape on a regular basis: PH testing and keeping an eye out for crane fly. This way they keep our turf healthy and I can do weeding and planting. They also do the tree care. I feel comfortable pruning most other trees, but fruit trees need special care. I also have a very large tree in our front yard. It is just too large for me to take care of.

The company was prompt and courteous at appointment setting time. They were extremely accomodating with times to do the service. They arrived as scheduled and did the work as stated. Care and maintainence instructions were thorough and easy to follow. There was no mess left (other than the plugs from the aeration as expected). Although they also had further recommendations, there was no hard or upsell--no pressure to buy anything further. I think that is what I appreciated the most. I was also invited, via email, to subscribe to their newsletter--already been helpful. I have them scheduled to come do further work this spring. A well-run company.

I really like the company. He answered all my questions. Very nice and professional. He emailed me right away with the work. He was very prompt and I will use his services. Good listener and never interrupted.

In Harmony is a very friendly company, which makes it hard for me to write this review. I purchased a 2-hour consultation for $75.00 through Angie's List. I understand that the $75.00 would be applied for future services and design, if I used In Harmony, but I expected a little more out of the consultation. The two hour consultation was about a half hour. I assumed that examples of their services would be provided, maybe even a list of popular plants, or a sketch as to what they immediately invision for the property. Unfortunately, I didn't get any new design ideas. Instead, I was advised of the process if I chose to use In Harmony. I really feel as if I paid $75.00 for an estimate as I learned that it was going to cost about $1,500.00 for a simple design service. I would have been better off to simply call a landscape company for an estimate as I believe that I would've have received the same information, but for free. Unfortunately, a $75.00 discount is not much of of $1,500.00. In the end, I won't be using their services and wasted $75.00.

In Harmony was not able to perform the work as they said we had too many steps to get to our lawn.

They were very professional. I will be using this company in the future for other projects.

Came out for a quote and set up an appointment. They were prompt and efficient and did a great job.

They were very punctual, professional, provided clear plans, prices, and plenty of options that allowed us to choose what we wanted to do ourselves. The price was much higher than we expected, so we decided to do a lot more of the work than originally planned ourselves. I was very pleased with the diverse list of native plants suggested for our yard since that was part of what I was struggling with in knowing what plants to add. I appreciated the advice of repeating plants in the yard to create a theme. We contracted In Harmony to cut lawn in the back yard and the front and remove the sod/moss and some soil next to the edges and dispose of it. We also had them remove an old edging that went out into the middle of the lawn in the back yard and a wood flowerbed edging that was rotting in the back yard. The roots of our lawn turned out to be pretty shallow under the shade of the tall evergreen trees which had roots competing for water at the same shallow level. So they dug it all out by hand with a shovel instead of using a machine. The path from the side yard gate to the patio was dug out (large tree roots removed) and edged with aluminum edging. It was filled with wood chips. After 1 1/2 days of work the yard looked better, but really still needs a lot of work since the lawn has no aluminum edging and will grow past its newly cut edges in the spring. The newly cut soil (previously lawn) needs compost, so we need to work on laying down compost soon so weeds don't start growing this winter. We felt like the cost of the work was close to $60/hr and we now have a lot of work to do in the middle of winter to make sure it is not all lost by spring time. We don't feel we received a good value for the money we spent. We may still have them install the aluminum edging around the lawn since that looks difficult to do well, but the cost may outweigh that benefit. The $75 Angie's List Deal should have been deducted from our bill for the work performed. That still needs to be done. Also, there were 2 parts of the yard that I asked them not to work on so we could save some additional money, but that was not taken out of the final bill either. We have a call in to them to resolve it.

A company like this is hard to find. An A+ in all the above ratings and an A+ in Flexibility too! I will definitely use again.

We called and set up an appointment, they arrived promptly (a little early in fact), we went over the deal and when we mentioned the square foot requirement they said no problem and did our entire yard which is four levels.

My lawn is a very old , weed and thatch choked on lousy clay soil. They were timely, efficient, checked out my lawn and evaluated my diverse garden and landscape plants and soil conditions and accurately noted conditions. They did a thorough job reseeding and treating the lawn and it looks much healthier. I will hire them again.

Harmony Sustainable Landscapes was very efficient. They contacted me after I purchased the Angie's List Deal. They scheduled an evaluation of our lawn and then called afterward to let me know when the work would be done. I didn't have to do anything else. The service was performed when they said it would be. They also left a number of pamphlets about lawn care which were very helpful. I will definitely be using them again for seasonal maintenance and hopefully year-around care if they aren't too expensive.

The company was prompt and courteous in scheduling aeration and fertilization. The finished quickly and on time and the charges were quite fair. We have already had significant regrowth of grass in areas that were overseeded and they gave us additional seed to spread.

A representative from In Harmony Landscaping came to look at our yard and scheduled our appointment. I was out of town when the work was done, but everything was neat and tidy when I returned, and my lawn has never looked better.

They came out initially to inspect the property, and though they were over an hour late for that appointment, it worked out fine. The actual work was performed later and we didn't even need to be present. It seems they did a good job, all services were performed as described. They also left information on additional services they provide in a very non-pushy way, which I appreciated. All in all very smooth!

We arranged for In Harmony to service our lawn through Angie's List Big Deal. We were pleased the job could be done when we were at work. It took a couple phone calls to make arragements, then the job was finished without any hassles. We were pleased with the results.

Harmony did a great job, arrived on time and my lawn now looks great. I was concerned with the over seeding that seed would get in my recently weeded flower beds but they were very careful in applying theseed and there was no problem. My grass desperately need aerating and they did a very good job; asking me how much I wanted done and did a double pass in areas where moss was an issue. Overall great job.

The service to the lawn seemed less than average to me. This is the first time we have aerated and fertilized, but our neighbors do this regularly, so we see their lawn after this is completed. There was minimal aeration holes put in our lawn, and we had to reapply the entire bag of seed the next day as there were many bare spots left in our lawn.
