I have a "no soliciting" sign on my front door and they knocked. Other than that they were perfectly friendly and relatively reasonable.

They were extremely and unbelievably expensive. I would never hire them again. They wanted $700, but I ended up paying $500 and it seemed way too much. They gave an estimate and it was based on the number of hours that they were going to spend doing the job. They estimated 7 hours which I did not believe is going to happen. I was right in a way that they finished everything in 4 1/2 hours. I paid for that and they also made a mistake. They charged me additional few hours until I called them back and said that they worked for 4 1/2 hours. I also said that I was disappointed. They did good work, but it wasn't something extremely diligent to charge $45 per hour. The work they did was may be $20 to $25 not $45. The interaction with them was fine overall. They were responsive and punctual. The owner was professional.

After that first job, things went downhill very quickly. I had asked for a once-a-month visit to keep things cleaned up. One month they didn't show up at all (but I was still billed for it! - got that fixed). I asked them to specifically target the ivy on the trees in my front yard; they went and pulled up a whole bunch of easy ivy in my flat back yard. When I came to the work crew and pointed out the front yard ivy I wanted removed, within 15 minutes they just got in their truck and drove away. That was the last time I used their service. I might recommend these folks for a one-time job; I distinctly do NOT recommdnd them as an ongoing service.

They are always here on the same day every other week and they always do an excellent job. I'm so happy with this service. It's such a relief to work with professionals. They weeded and then installed a weed barrier and gravel beneath my deck and at the front of my house and it looks fantastic. They always go above and beyond when they do my yard. These folks are fantastic and I can't recommend them highly enough.

The yard always looked great when they left. They cleaned up after themselves. They pruned my fruit tree in the early spring even though I hadn't requested it and they did a very good job. I eventually had to discontinue service due to budget constraints but I would probably hire them to do work again in the future but just limit it to lawn service. The only complaint I had was that they didn't really weed the beds, they just sprayed weed killer and they did kill all of my perennials off. When I called to have Darrel meet with me to go over the beds and everything that had been killed off, he didn't show for his appt but one of his workers showed and said Darrel had something come up. I asked for a discount to compensate for the replacement of the flowers and for the reduced work since I picked up the weeding in the spring. I was given $15 off one of my monthly bills.

Very responsive to my requests and quick to respond to phone calls. Haven't used them for more than yard work yet, but would definitely consider it.

They are very reliable. They provide service on a monthly basis. They come less often in the winter and more often in the summer. I haven?t compared their prices with other companies.

I communicated with the owner several times via email to determine what we wanted done in the end and to ask about price. They came in under other companies that we had looked into so we decided to go with them. They come out once every 2 weeks and usually I'm not around when they do the work, but its always nice to come home and see the lawn mowed and clean.

It worked out great. He is awesome and I recommended him to my neighbor.

Sprinklers did not work in some areas, also did not cover garden or some portions of grass. They put in new sprinkler heads and moved some around the yard and now they work great.

My yard had become badly overgrown since winter, and I simply hadn't had the time, energy or inclination to take care of it myself. About the time the "thistle tree" by my front steps was over 6' tall, I called Darrin, who got back to me within a day, and described what I needed done. He was cheerful, gave me a bid, and didn't mind negotiating work vs. $$ to find an acceptable mean for both of us. With reluctance on his part, he agreed to leave the Japanese maple for me to prune myself - both of us like to play with that particular plant. His crew came out within a week, and when they had gone, my jungle (not exaggerating here) looked like a yard - a garden, even. Every weed (including the thistle), every violet leaf, every scruffy dying plant was gone. They trimmed my ragged rose to a proper height, and shaped my King Kong boxwood down to something more like Cheetah. My stairs, walkway and steep driveway had been swept. There was no yard waste at all; as agreed, they hauled it away with them (probably took two trucks). They covered - or uncovered - everything from the house front to the sidewalk, and north lot line to south lot line.

I had a project in the back yard that I no longer had time for. The owner of Greenridge came over and gave me some good ideas on how to get what I needed. The goal was to create some large planting areas, raised ~ 2.5 feet along with new gravel area for a small shed. When his employee came over to do the work I was surprised to see the plan written on a small piece of paper was incorrect. I proceeded to write out a new plan quickly for the employee. It seemed as if many of the things I had talked about were forgotten. Not a big deal, it wasn?t rocket science, I could easily explain what I needed. I had two new planting areas create ~ 3feet high and new gravel as planned. To my surprise when they were finished I noticed a few things that lacked detail. One side of the planter was not level and the other planter was shimmed in order to make it level. For the price I would expect level, period. UPDATE The owner came by after this report and offered to make it right. It is obvious that this quality is 'not' normal for these guys, sadly, it was just one employee. That is how it seems to me anyway.

They were prompt and did the outlined work as discussed.

I contacted Darrin at Greenridge to mow and trim the lawn of a co-worker who was unable to care for her lawn due to surgery. I contacted several yard services in the area. Darrin responded promptly and professionally and gave us an estimate promptly as well. The estimate was for $65 per mow which fit our budget. We hired him to do it 4 times and our co-worker tells us he's been there exactly when he said he would be and has done a great job. She said once, a small area was missed and she called him and he responded right away and there hasn't been any other problems or concerns. The charge has been exactly what he said it would be, no surprises. Our co-worker is so pleased with him, she's going to hire him herself to continue the yard care for her. Both she and I definitely recommend Greenridge!

The owner Darrin French came by within three days of our initial call. He reviewed the entire project with us and clarified our desired outcome. He suggested ways to improve the general appearance of our property in preparation for selling our home. He gave us a detailed estimate of the work to be done. After obtaining two additional quotes, we decided to go with Greenridge Landscape because of the satisfied comments from customers on Angie's List, their very professional approach, their willingness to work with us to achieve our vision, the estimated time of completion, and best overall price for the work required. We had an open schedule; however, they were able to complete the work within 10 days of our accepting the bid. The three-man team was very professional and completed the work within the estimated time frame. They arrived on time and went to work with a will. Darrin worked right alongside the workers explaining what he wanted and providing guidance to meet our needs. The team members worked very efficiently and were very thorough. They left the yard in pristine shape and we were very pleased with the results. They returned about a week later and completed the power washing. We were so pleased with the quality and speed of their work that we contracted with them to take over the routine cutting and maintenance of our yard. They come every two weeks and do an excellent job. All work is done to our standards and they leave everything spotless.

Darrin French was very professional, but we didn't select his company for this project because I wasn't under the impression that he wanted to do work in Redmond. Additionally, he didn't think our lawn could be rehabilitated. He recommended replacing the lawn to the tune of $10K. The company who performed the work improved our lawn by rehabilitating for $700, instead of replacing it.

Great! They will send us a bill at the end of September. We just told them to go for it and he told me approximately how much it would be per hour and I figured out what it might be including cost of mulch and dump fees, etc.

He gave a fair estimate for the work, which was accepted, and arrived on on schedule to start the work. He was easy to work with and very cooperative in making late changes which we wanted. The work was finished on schedule and the yard was left in a neat clean condition.

It's the first the first time the landscaping has been done that it looks like it was supposed to. He is highly knowledgeable about his plants and how to deal with them. He also did a very thorough weeding which is almost impossible to get.

Greenridge does a good job with my small lawn. The men who come each week are polite, speedy and they take care to close the gate and put the clippings in the right place.
