+ -1 moreLiwai, was right on time for the review and estimate. He explained the processes step by step and advised us on what would and wouldn't look that great in the end. He was reasonably priced and very knowledgeable so we decided to use him. We were under the gun so to speak as our house was to hit the market in a couple of weeks. Liwai was able to squeeze us in and was right on time to start. Everything went just as he said it would and he finished right on time and on cost. We even decided to add on a room at the very last minute and he was able to adjust to our additional request and keep us on to list the house. Bottom line......... Excellent quality, good price, very predictable and punctual. I would highly recommend Liwai and will use him again in the future with my next house.

+ -1 moreHe came on time and worked very diligently. He started on Monday and was done the first half of Wednesday. We didn't need to remove the baseboards or lift the toilet. We did not have to leave the house but we did kind of camp out upstairs. Cats stayed in the garage for 2 1/2 days. Floors turned out great! He was very professional and friendly.
Description of Work: Refinished existing wood floors in kitchen, hallway, powder room and foyer. Applied water base finish with no stain.

+ -1 moreAfter a mixup of being told my floors would be fine with resurfacing at .99 a sq ft, it was assured that they need refinishing which was a higher cost. And I'm so glad I did. My 1962 original floors looked fantastic!! Did not have to leave the house for days, and the dust was minimal. Liwai Makanui was fantastic. Would highly recommend him.
