About us

We are a father-son remodel and deck business and do all of our own work. We subcontract and closely manage small amounts of specialty work; electrical, drywall, hardwood floors. We have no sales force and no additional crews; all dealings are with us. We constantly update ourselves with manufacturer training and certifications to insure we are up to date and knowledgeable in all aspects of our business. We have earned outstanding references and third party evaluations. We maintain all appropriate licenses, comply with all building codes and pull local permits whenever required. We execute our projects sequentially, not simultaneously, so when we start your project we finish it before moving on; no junping back and forth from job to job. We establish fair and reasonable progress payments that limit your exposure and ours. We do great work, play by the rules and our lower overhead allows us to offer good pricing.

Duro and his team did an excellent job of installing my kitchen countertop and backsplash. He was always on time, very communicative and the quality of his work was very precise. I would definitely hire Duro again for any future projects I needed done.

Doru at Eagle Construction and his team did a stunning job on my bathroom remodel in June. They were very easy to work with, worked long and hard days to get the remodel done in a timely manner. Doru always kept me in the know of everything and made great suggestions and recommendations. The tile work turned out beautifully. He also came back to install my cabinet that I’d been waiting on for a couple weeks. I would definitely hire him and his team and am looking to do my kitchen next.

Jim and his son were very nice. We spent some time talking about our project and we showed them CAD drawings of what we were looking for. They told us they'd get back to us in a few days with an estimate. I heard nothing after a week so I called Jim and left him a message with my phone number and email in case he had misplaced them. I did not receive a return call or email. It has now been 2 1/2 weeks since they came to my house and I have heard nothing. Whether or not they are able or interested in the project, I would certainly expect a level of professionalism that what include at a minimum a phone call.

This is an unfortunate case of "no one will ever know what happened." I did Email our detailed quotation, as promised, the same day she called. Those on the copy list got their copy, so the Email did go through. After 2 weeks I sent a follow up Email requesting status. She answered back immediately that this was the first she'd heard from me. I immediately resent, from two different sources, the original Email dated 2 weeks earlier; no response. The next night I received an Angie's List Email alerting me to a review having been posted; it was this one. That next morning I called her and left a voice mail asking her if she received either of the two Emails I had sent the previous day; again, no response. This is absolutely not the way I want to resolve a simple, inexplicable communication mix-up and I don't intend to have my case tried on Angie's List. However, the first negative review of our business in over 20 years now resides on this site. Since I can't contact the author and potential clients may find this post, I have to post my side of the story. We liked this couple and we were quite hopeful we could win this project. I probably should have followed up in a week instead of two, but I'm overly sensitive to pushy sales tactics and try to give clients all the room they need to make a thorough and thoughtful decision. I'm hoping they are out of town for the holiday which could explain the lack of response, but I couldn't risk letting that post stand alone for 3 or 4 days with only half the story printed.
